If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've been coming to this location for the past 6 years. Today, March 2nd, I had my annual appointment scheduled for 2:40 PM. I arrived at 2:38 PM and was never greeted. After about 5 minutes, I went up to the front desk and asked if I needed to sign in for my 2:40 appointment. She said no, asked for my ID and insurance, and told me to sit down. I was not given any paperwork to complete. After 20 minutes, I went back up and asked how much longer it would be since it had already been 20 minutes. I was told "soon." Another 10 minutes passed with no update. During that time, a patient who arrived after me completed her registration, was taken back for the first step of her visit, and was only waiting on the doctor. Meanwhile, I was never properly registered and was never seen. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. After being a loyal patient for years, I expected better communication and respect. You need a better team that truly cares about your patients.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this MyEyeDr. location. I picked up my new glasses and noticed within two days that the left lens was blurry when looking toward the periphery, while the right was perfect. I scheduled a follow-up, and the doctor confirmed the prescription was correct but admitted the frames they originally sold me were likely too large for my eyes/prescription. Her solution was for me to exchange them for a smaller, rounder frame. The issues began when I tried to make the exchange: 1. Lack of Professional Guidance: Why was I allowed to purchase frames that were "too big" for my prescription to function correctly in the first place? Isn't that what the staff is there to assist with? 2. Hidden Costs: They didn't have a smaller frame in the same brand, and they insisted that I pay the difference for a new pair. It is incredibly frustrating to be told I have to come out of pocket to fix a problem that stems from their lack of initial guidance. 3. Lack of Transparency: It was never explained to me that the prescription only covers a specific "sweet spot" on certain lens sizes. I feel like I'm being penalized financially for a mistake made by their sales team. I won't be returning and suggest others look elsewhere if they want a team that actually ensures your frames and lenses are compatible before you swipe your card.

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding how I was treated during my son's 1:15 p.m. appointment at your office. Upon arrival, the office manager asked me to complete paperwork. As a personal practice, I take photos of documents that I sign so that I can review them later. While doing so, I noticed that the paperwork contained incorrect information. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff member assisting me. She then provided another folder, which again contained incorrect information. Because the office had my driver's license and insurance card, I respectfully asked that they ensure my personal information was not being mixed up or mishandled. It is extremely important to me that my information is only accessed by authorized employees at the eye clinic, as I am currently in a protective custody situation and take my privacy very seriously. When I expressed my concern, the staff member became upset and stated that she knew what she was doing and that I did not need to repeat myself. I calmly reiterated my request that my information not be confused with another patient's. At that point, I was told that I could leave. I believe this situation was mishandled. Not only was I provided with another individual's incorrect information, but my son and I were not seen for his scheduled appointment due to an error that was not ours. Additionally, I am concerned that this may constitute a potential HIPAA violation, as I was given access to someone else's personal information. I am bringing this matter to your attention so it can be properly reviewed and addressed. Patient privacy and respectful treatment should always be a priority. Dr. Chen and Dr. Thai are amazing! Very helpful in explaining what to anticipate in terms of changing prescriptions and my profession. Nazret was also very helpful in explaining what I could do to have my frames and lenses best work for my astigmatism. I really appreciated their candor about using my same glasses for another year, and their honesty in this instance makes me trust the practice even more. Thanks for all that you do!

Went on 12.5.2025 to do a annual eye exam with Dr. Jenny Chen. Dr. Chen provided great customer services and provided me in depth details about the results from my eye exam. During the eye exam, she let me know what she was doing and was patience to go back and forth in the exam to double check if I see the letters and other things correctly. I would definitely come back to see Dr. Chen again. Highly recommend Dr. Chen if you need to see a eye doctor. The other staff members today was very kind while I was there.

I paid extra for eye images and they didn't honor my request to have them emailed to me. When the exam is complete they try to sell you overpriced glasses without providing itemized costs which, makes it difficult to compare to verify it is a fair price. They are not fairly priced and I had this issue at two locations.

This place used to be good but sadly the service and quality went down. I went for my routine eye exam and they gave me the wrong prescription. I let them know immediately but was told that I needed to use it to let my eyes adjust even though I TOLD THEM I COULD NOT SEE!!! I had to come back another week and see another doctor to get everything redone. Then waited 3 weeks for my glasses just to be told that there was something else wrong with them. Now im stuck waiting for another 2 weeks for something that should have been done right from the beginning. PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't come here. If you do have to come to this place do yourself a favor and AVOID DR Jenny Chen and go see DR Dalia instead. Also expect the glasses to be ready in about 2 months.
