Fort Meade Family Eye Care

This was by far the best eye care I've ever received. Dr Monica Cross was super kind and took very good care of me. She helped me understand my eye care and helped me get the correct prescription for my glasses. She was super quick to! Definitely recommend this place and this doctor.

Absolutely phenomenal experience in both the optometry office AND the lenses office! Dr Monica was the utmost kind and knowledgeable optometrist I have ever visited, and believe me I have seen a lot!!!!! I have needed high prescription glasses since I was diagnosed at 7, and my son since he was 3, (Yes, it runs in the family a little |). Needless to say, she evaluated myself, our oldest, and our youngest with a magnitude of integrity that you don't see much in any medical field much less in optometry. Her secretary was very cordial and patient with us as well. Especially, while we waited for all three to be seen. In the lenses office the two techs that were assisting us were also a blessing to have! Mrs Christine was very patient, attentive, and a blessing to talk to! She helped both my son and myself pick out the frames we wanted AND looked good on us! Ms Dianne (I think was her name, I'm sorry if I remembered incorrectly) was also very kind and a blessing to talk to as well~ All three of us will definitely be coming back to both offices next year and the following years after as long as we are stationed at Meade! Thank you all .

Enjoyed my visit to my optical appointment. Staff was very professional and friendly. Dr Cross was very friendly and I immensely enjoyed our conversation. Dr Cross is very thorough while doing her job. I would recommend her for your optical needs.

I've never had a better eye exam experience than I did with Dr. Cross. She was very thorough, none of my previous eye doctors had been as thorough as she was when she did my exam and the results were a spectacularly clear prescription. She also doesn't push you toward things you don't need. My daughter wanted eye glasses so badly, I think because her best friend had glasses, and Dr. Cross determined that her vision was fine. Despite my daughter crying when we left without a prescription. :) I recommend Dr. Cross if you want a great prescription from a skilled and trustworthy Doctor. Also her office staff was kind, professional, and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I think this is my last time going to this office for an eye exam. I really felt like I was being treated as a child. Being told to uncross my legs, be still, she actually took my candy from me, then proceeded to give direction, look here, don't do this, i felt my service could of been better, my eye exam didn't provide my PD number when asked and the front staff seem very disengaged on customer service. Never going back here as it didn't appear to be a well organized eye exam and i felt uneased and confused. Lastly, i was given a mask that appeared dirty so I used my own and she then asked for the one she gave me back.... and the front staff does not wear one why not? Why are the forms dated, why are you all not electronic.... catch up is 2025!!!!! Recommend going elsewhere.
