Dr. Gill's Eye Center

One of the strangest creepiest doctors offices I have ever been to. Super unprofessional. Very short exam not formal or professional. I will be reporting to my insurance that patients should stay clear! I can't even trust this script is right he barely even looked at my eyes.

The eye examination was incomplete. There was never any point where he asked "is this better or worse" or asked me to read a list of letters to test my vision. He said my prescription was the exact same. A few months had passed and my vision was still blurry and not up to par. I made an appointment at another facility and my prescription indeed was drastically changed.

The exam was incomplete. Only my distance vision was checked and yet was also given a script for reading glasses. After waiting over 2 months for the glasses (it was during pandemic, so understandable there) the glasses were damaged when received and are NOT the right prescription. I've been wearing glasses for nearly 40 years and this is by far the worst exam and set of glasses I've received. The picture shows how the glasses were bent upon receipt - both sides though only 1 in pic. Sometimes it takes a day or 2 to get used to a new pair or prescription, but I've had the glasses for several days now and no improvement. They make me dizzy and destroy my peripheral vision. Terrible experience overall, do NOT recommend at all!!

Hi this is just a little bit disappointed that I want to write I have been going to this sir for a year since I was 14 I got to us and after a year I had a baby and my 4-year-old started seeing him for a check-up was fine but today 4/19/24 my son when for a yearly check-up eye vision and my son has a special kid and when my son sits on the chair to do the eye picture stuff just because my son touch the machine did not brake it he was putting only his hand in it like holding it he slap my son hands twice and I didn't say nothing I just remove my hand and reported to the redemption and what got me more mad was that he say (This cost 10,000 dollar) like if he brake it you have to pay but his actions got me mad and more is hard to understand his English sometimes he speak another Language to in a low voice and all I say to her was don't make me the appointment they could see my face mad but i keep my calm for my kid that hates when people scream or fight I'm really disappointed in his actions and how the humanity care more about money then their patience. Beside *The new Desk receptionist* she was understanding and loving and really caring and trying to get my sons attention with a smile on her face.

Ramp is inaccessible, and covered in snow. When mentioned to secretary she said the dr doesnt allow it to be shoveled and I should mention it to him. Dr is rude, he barely spoke or explained anything to my child during his 1st ever exam. Didn't even close the exam room door. Upon leaving I asked if there was another exit that accessible and wasn't snow covered. The dr told me no. When i said he should do something about that he told me dont bring them (my newborn twins in their stroller). I said if they don't come then he (my son the patient) doesn't come (because I have no sitter). He replied so don't come back. We left the office without even receiving a prescription after being told my child needed glasses. The dr tried to claim someone got hurt on the ramp from falling snow so they dont shovel it anymore. I informed him that someone is going to get hurt again BECAUSE it's not shoveled and they should fix both problems! If I could give zero stars I would! Absolutely not handicap or stroller accessible.

Horrible front office person. Horrible staff. Horrible customer service. The office staff NEVER opens the office on time, nor do they turn their phones on, on time. I had ordered glasses there and was told they would be in in a week or 2. 2 weeks go by and no call from them. I has to call and the ditz at the front desk says, oh yeah, they've been here for 4 days. BUT NO ONE CALLED ME!!!!!! Even the doctor didn't really seem to care about his job. Barely talked to me and explained nothing unless I asked a question. I got a second opinion from a different optometrist and was told that I have perfect vision, which was completely opposite from what Dr. Gill told me. This man seems to be out to rip people off and make money by giving false diagnoses. I DO NOT recommend this establishment!

made an appt online, did not receive an email, so i called, apparently they don't use the website, its just there for show, so the receptionist made an appt by hand. I showed on time, but the DR was apparently having an extended lunch and was not in the building, waited 15 minutes, DR was still enjoying his lunch, so I had to go back to work. BEWARE -DO NOT GO to this place.

Great experience here, and the receptionist included ALL relevant rx info that we needed on the receipt, before I could even ask! Unlike a certain other eye care center in Sturbridge, who can't be bothered to include the pd number... We'll be back!
