The service was generally good, s as nd the Dr Chen was very patient. The only suggestion that I have is to tell the patient that retinal imaging is not covered by VPS and to let patient decide whether it's is necessary. Thank you!

It took us too long to come to an agreement about a mistake made by them. Returning there the 2nd time, I wanted my glasses to be readjusted; they were too loose. The optometrist took it inside, returning with, what he said, a 'brand new one'. I didn't authorize new frame, so I thought he'd adjusted, cleaned, and it was new again. A few months later I needed a new prescription. My insurance denied bc it had been 6 months since my last glasses!! The optometrist had written in my file my glasses were 'broken' and refused to admit his mistake! I'd have brought a witness who was at the store when I was. He refuted the idea. Over 40 min. later of standing on crutches due to a recent surgery, both legs hurting, he found out where we are originally from. Then he ignored me, speaking only to my husband, showing off what he knows about our native language. I suggested he'd given me new glasses but ended up compromising on new lenses only that don't fully attend my needs. He refused to provide bifocals and wanted to give me lenses for distance only, what I least need that must be cheaper. For that, though, we had to pay for a new frame. When my husband brought it home, it was completely misshapen!!! Visibly crooked, what entailed another trip to the store! Originally we had 2 prescriptions filled. I don't recommend, will not return.

I went in for a routine eye exam and everything was smooth from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions. I really appreciated how thorough the exam was. 5 stars.

The office was conveniently located, nice decorated and had state of the art equipment. I was able to get an appointment within a week and was called in quickly from the waiting room. The retinal scans I ordered were extremely sharp and informative. I will be recommending them to anyone who asks.

This is a pleasant and professional local Newton Eye Care place that broth my husband and I enjoyed visiting over the years. Staff were super friendly and services were prompt, professional and satisfactory. We'd highly recommend to anyone who needs regular (annual) eye checkup, prescription glasses (near-sighted or far-sighted), contact lenses; progressive transition, or simple prescription sunglasses

Over the past two years, my daughter and I have ordered three pairs of glasses from them. Besides the regular frames, they offer some nice frames for the Asian. I found more options here than I found at LensCrafters.

Dr. Cheng is a great doctor and very professional. The whole visit is great like always! I have been here at her office for more than 3 years and got my glasses and contact prescriptions here! Highly recommended!
