I have been bringing my pets to Animal Eyecare since 2017 or 2018, and they have always received the best care from all of the doctors that have treated them. They've seen one of my akita's that had glaucoma and ended up having to have both of his eyes removed a year apart from each other, my cat with iris melanoma who had to have his eye removed, another cat with a rare cancer who had his eye removed last summer and is now thriving and much nicer, and my youngest cat is now a regular there as well, but hopefully an eye removal will not be in her future. They are the best at what they do and work seamlessly with my veterinarian to provide the best care. They handle my wiggly cat, Martini, with such ease and patience; I would never go anywhere else, and can not recommend them enough. The entire staff is caring, compassionate, kind, and thorough; they're always quick to address any questions or concerns I may have, and fit my pets in to be examined when needed .
We are incredibly grateful to DrJurk and her entire team for the care they provided for Bear during such a heartbreaking time Having our dog's eye removed due to severe, painful glaucoma was an emotional decision but the team at Animal Eye Care of New England were patient, honest, and compassionate every step of the way. They took time to explain the condition, the options, and what to expect which helped us feel confident we were making the best choice to relieve our dog's pain.
The surgery went smoothly and the follow up care has been excellent. Most importantly our dog is now clearly more comfortable and enjoying life
We can't thank them enough!
We have had a wonderful experience with Animal Eye Care of New England. The staff, whether it be the people answering the phones, the technicians, the veterinarian or Dr. Jurk, have always been attentive, kind and professional. My questions have been answered, and if i don't understand something in the diagnosis, Dr. Jurk will take the time to explain it. There are times when you may have to wait to be seen, but I've never looked at that as being a problem because I know that just as they are taking time to care for another patient, they would do the same for mine. I would highly recommend their practice.
My husband and I had such a great experience communicating with Animal Eye Care and were treated with such kindness and empathy as well as professionalism! We can't say enough amazing things about the level of care we received for our dog Ben! A huge thank you to the staff at Animal Eye Care!:) we appreciate you!
Thanks so much to Dr. Jurk and all the wonderful staff! It was a tough decision to have surgery to remove both eyes for my dog, but they were excellent and he clearly feels better now than he has in 3 years. I wish I hadn't waited.
When I adopted a rescue with what I thought was a cataract, I was devastated to learn from Dr Jurk that it was advanced glaucoma and the eye had to be removed. Dr Jurk and her staff were very sympathetic and kind to both me and my pet. The surgery went smoothly and now that my rescue isn't in searing pain from the glaucoma, she is a bright, happy pup. Their professionalism and compassion were very impressive. I recommend them highly.
Dr. Jurk and the entire staff at Animal Eye Care of New England are absolutely amazing. When my pug Owen was diagnosed with an eye disease I researched the best place to take him. After reading so many wonderful things, I made the appointment with Animal Eye Care of New England. Pugs are prone to eye issues and I knew I wanted the best. We have been seeing Dr. Jurk since January 2020. After receiving treatment, Owen sees perfectly! We go in for bi-annual exams and he is doing great. As you can see by the attached picture Dr. Jurk loves her patients and they love her back! The same staff have been there since we started going. Always so friendly and welcoming. Thank you Dr. Jurk and the entire Animal Eye Care of New England team, for always taking such great care of my son Owen!
I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment. Dr. Jurk saved my cats life (and eyes). My cat, Jax, was diagnosed with an aggressive case of juvenile cataracts at 4 months old. With rapid progression, Dr. Jurk gave me my options and less than one month later my cat was being operated on. My options were to: remove both eyes, try surgery with uncertain outcomes, or put him down. Dr. Jurk performed miracles and my boy has both of his eyes! 3 years later, we continue with Animal Eye Care for checkups and medication refills. He has both of his eyes and is a happy and healthy boy!
I owe this clinic so much more than a thank you. They truly care about your pets and are always very receptive. I would recommend this office again and again! Thank you Animal Eye Care!
