Cold entrance , no introduction, back facing me ask what I am in for . Told him my eyes bother me after cataracts surgery done left rm for long time at least 15 min. Came back looked at eyes said it was fat substance from aging Said he knew a 80 yr old lady that had wrinkles and she swore up and down she didn't have before. ( I'm 70) so. I said what about seeing. He said you can see fine ( not friendly tone either) I told him my eyes felt bad like something in them. He said u can see fine thanks it and / done nothing. No have a nice day nothing. I figure he called boss and crew in big rapids mi cuz he came back with the same message she gave me with a laugh. Wow. Now I have another apt after going to my physicians office to see another recommendation opthomologist. So my eyes are now pool cold of blood could be ??! We will see

Husband had eye checked office march 24th 2025 office is friendly. But got the suprised today when 6 month later september 19 2025, I received a bill for 196.00 I think they need to somehow update the system. we thought we were all paid up.

My daughter has received diabetic "eye care" for the past 4 years at this office. When she went for her yearly exam, she had her certified Diabetic Alert Dog with her (showed the card) and was told to wait outside because someone "might be allergic!" This is ILLEGAL, and she advocated that it was, yet she waited outside at the continued insistence of the receptionist coupled with the threat of appointment cancellation. We will not be returning to a business exhibiting THAT level of ignorance. Even WalMart workers know Service Dogs have public access. Ridiculous.

First, Nicole the tech, is a real sweetie, but more importantly professional efficient, competent and so very friendly. Dr. Always greets me warmly (and I can see his face now that masks are off!) and is very thorough with my exam. He answered all questions and offered follow up for any other problems-he cares! If you need an eye doc, call his office. You won't be disappointed.

Dr Habekovic is a nice guy and seems competent but the practice needs major technical and billing upgrades. Still using outdated photography for macular degeneration tracking rather than OTC scanner. Billing is 18 months behind and invoices are illegible. I now go elsewhere.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just visited the new office and want to say how nice it was. The staff is friendly and Judy at the in-house optometry shop is the best. Dr. Habekovic is very thorough and explains things clearly. I'm glad the new office is just down the street from the old one. Easy.

Very kind and helpful staff. Very good equipped office. Doctor Habekovic is very professional,knowledgeable and good listener...easy to communicate and explaining everything for easy understanding. Definitely would stay and recommend this team!

My experience with Dr. Habekovic's office was extremely negative, and I definitely prefer to find a different provider who will be more communicative. The front desk associate was incredibly kind, but Nurse Dickerson (I think that was her name) and the doctor were not. They performed unnecessary tests using dated methods--I did not ask for or need a glaucoma test, and they performed one using the burning droplets rather than the air puff machine. I've never been to an eye doctor that lacked that kind of basic equipment! No one explained why they wanted a bunch of tests I didn't want, or even what their procedure for a new patient even was. I was only there for an OCT test. My questions and confusion were met with a lot of hostility from the nurse that worked with me, and some from the doctor himself. Also the OCT text was performed by the nurse, who did not appear to tell the doctor this. But then the doctor insisted I needed my eyes dilated to get good results. I thought my memory of the test failed me and maybe I hadn't done it it yet. Turns out that yes, that test was already performed, and my eyes were dilated for no reason. I'm not looking forward to the billing for all the unnecessary steps they took. And while I was told I was fine to drive (also stated in a pre-visit letter they sent), it certainly didn't feel that way. My eyes are still extremely blurry and I was barley able to read my GPS or road signs to get home an hour away. As a patient with MS I have worked with many different kinds of health professionals, and I can objectively say this was one of my worst experiences.
