Annandale Eye Clinic

Tried to charge $1200 for a pair of frames. And that's with insurance. Went with cheap pair instead and glasses cam in and I can not see anything up foot in front of my face with them on. I see fine up close without glasses. Just needed for distance. Told them they are wrong when I was fitted in clinic. Asked for a refund and was told I have to pay $150 restocking fee for their mess up. Asked them to take the prescription from my original glasses they said no. Now the owe me almost $700 and I have 0 glasses. Also frames on manufacture website were $167 and they wanted over $1000. Not a good look place in a small town. Stay clear unless you have won the lottery.

I want to say the staff is very friendly. I have worn glasses for over 50 years. I felt I was given a good exam. The cost was quite high. But i used my Ucare card which had 1200.00 on it and paid 315.00 out of my pocket. When I picked up my glasses I could not wear them. I put them on later because they suggested I try in the morning when my eyes were not used to my old glasses. I had headaches every day until I went back to my old glasses. I let them know. They redid my exam and upgraded the tint at no extra charge. The second exam was closer to my old prescription. But still causes headaches whenever I wear them. They refused to give me any money back so I could get a new pair at a different location. I did call Ucare and they told me I could not get any of my money back because they were specialty lenses (no line bifocal with lenses that turn dark in the sun). I also got a bill in the mail for 65.00 for the copay. I paid that last week in person and let them know the glasses still do not work for me. Very unhappy with the end result.

All the staff and Dr Katie are exceptionally caring and very knowledgeable . Highly recommended if you are looking to get a thorough eye examine! (I recently moved to the area - fyi)
