I have worn glasses for about 10 years now and have gone to multiple other doctors for prescriptions and have always felt that my prescription was just off a bit. I can honestly say, that even after a few months, I stop and think of how clearly I can see everything and how happy I am that I went here. The doctor is very professional and knowledgeable. Gave very in depth and thoughtful answers to my questions and all around a very nice guy. Will highly recommended to others.

I don't normally come here. The doctor seems nice. Even if he seems a bit temperamental. I'm less likely going to go back to a doctor that yelled at me for having a normal behavior like blinking when something is mere millimeters away from my eye. And the doctor doesn't seem to care or realize that. I'm not going to spend time desensitizing myself to avoid being yelled at. And I don't find it professional for the doctor tell broadcast the exact date that a patient was there last in their response. I thought there was doctor-patient confidentiality.

I have always loved going to see Dr. Lovdokken at Lindstrom Optical!! Now living in South Minneapolis, I still make the trip up for all of my vision needs. He is always spot on with my prescription, incredibly timely with my glasses and contacts, and I always find unique, well fitting, and high value frames at his shop! Do yourself a favor and ask him about his cat Polar's recent tricks and antics. Lovdokken is unmatched in ensuring you are cared for, comfortable, and crystal clear!

I, along with my entire family, have worn glasses all our lives. I met Dr. Lovdokken about 3 years ago and was skeptical as I never had a great eye doctor. I am here to put your thoughts at ease. He is an outstanding doctor. He will go out of his way to get what you need, he will make sure you understand all warranties and even offer what he feels is best for you and he does have a great attitude. He might offer something you did not think of that would cost you a little more now but he is looking out for you. He is not trying to gouge your pocket book but he is trying to make sure what you pay for lasts as long as they can. Glasses are not cheap to begin with but if you just listen to the expert you will be happy with his suggestions. I paid an extra $10.00 to extend a warranty on a pair of glasses because he said it was best. Here I am only 12 days away from that 2 year warranty and guess what. Dr. Lovdokken is out to bat for me. If you are looking for a well mannered, good attitude eye doctor who appears to care more about his customers than himself then look no further. He is the eye doctor for you! as he will be mine for a very long time!

Brought my son in to get his vision checked as he failed a vision test at his general practitioner. We walked in & I immediately grew concerned as the office had several piles of clutter scattered throughout the office, we continued to get the exam after the exam was done he wanted to write a prescription for 1/2 strength & then another one for full strength. I started to question him, he said my son was far sighted yet he failed the distance test at the general practitioners office. He said that both eyes were the same even though during the eye exam it was obvious that they were not, as we started to question him he became very angry & very loud, at that point we choose to leave & go elsewhere for glasses.

Great customer service and very informative. Gave me through exam and am affordable option for my new contacts. Contacts fit and work perfectly. I would recommend this gentleman to all friends looking for optical services.

Great experience an new to the needing glasses and was helped with finding a pair that suited my face that still sat well. Explained what everything did as doing it. Understanding with my lack of knowledge of it. Price was beyond fair for what I got. My insurance recommends for the area as well. Seems very experienced and knowledgeable about all things eyes

Great experience! I lost a screw in the fame of my sunglasses and stopped in without previous experience to see if they could be fixed. A kind man answered at the counter and was willing to see what screws he had in stock to fix the frame. I came in early the next morning and they were fixed up beautiully. The lenses were clean and the frame was put back together nicely for an unbeatable price. I will definitely visit again!
