Park Rapids Walker Eye Clinic

I was on vacation in Walker and I ripped a contact. I called Park Rapids Walker Eye Clinic and they took amazing care of me. They gave me 2 new contacts just to make sure I was good for the rest of my vacation. I was so far from home (Colorado) and scared I would not be able to see. But they came to my rescue! Amazing customer service!!! I can not say Thank you enough!!

I switched to this office after moving to Park Rapids. I suppose the eye doctor was ok, but both times I've been to the clinic the receptionists have not been friendly, nor during any of the phone interactions. I won't say they are outwardly rude--but they've never smiled at me and when discovering a costly (to me) error they made, I was not offered even a simple apology or assurance that they would fix the issue. I'm not sure if I'll be back next year when it's time to update my contacts or get glasses. Most of my experiences with new clinics or new stores since moving to a small town, I've seen overwhelming helpfulness, friendliness, kindness etc.... As I said, the eye doctor probably was ok--but it's the rest that set the tone for the experience...especially in not even "owning" error, offering a simple apology and assurance the matter would be resolved. It's sometimes the little details.... Edited to add: regarding the costly error--when I discussed the error with the staff, I was told that a different person would have to fix it and she was not in that day, but they would give her a note. Based on my experience, I had zero confidence the matter would be resolved....so 2 days later I called. Sure enough, this person was never given any communication regarding the issue and I needed to go through the entire thing all over again.

Park Rapids Eye Clinic is by far the best eye clinic I have gone to. I appreciate the doctors and technicians who are very thorough. I've never had issues with my eyes until I was over 40 and they have given me the best experience from the exam to picking glasses. Thank you!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. My son is at risk of losing eyesight yet this business won't see him unless he puts his health at risk. This is unacceptable in health industry so I'm taking him to Sanford where they actually care about our health and safety.

Went in with a pair of glasses I happen to sit on. They fixed them immediately and because I had bought them there they didn't even charge me! That is the way to keep a customer happy!
