our appointment was at 1:45 and there was barely anyone there and i didn't get seen until 2:15 and they only did my diagnostics. it is now 2:40 and im still waiting to get my eye test. i dont recommend this place

Professional, thorough exams, explains everything every visit and takes his time. Does not rush. Best Optometrist that I have been to.

Appointments are so stacked you literally have to wait an hr past your scheduled appt time to be seen. The Dr isn't very friendly either.

Believe every review you read on here about sitting in the waiting room for a ridiculous and disappointing amount of time. My initial exam took over 2 hours from start to finish. I was given trial contacts to see how I liked them and was told we would just need to have a "short" follow up visit to check for fit and feel. The first pair did not fit me correctly and I've since had to go back 3 times for different trial pairs until we got them right. Each "short" follow up visit was at least 1 hour of waiting before being seen. I am currently sitting here at almost a 1 hour wait time for my final visit. I will never come to this place again, nor recommend them to anyone. Unless you have hours of time to waste in an eye doctor, don't come here.

We have to get a new eye doctor in Hancock County.I have been in the waiting room for an hour this is EVERY Time I come here!!!They even called and said come early we had several cancellations matter of fact same situation last time!!And he's not that friendly nor is he thorough!!!The staff looks miserable!!Not knowledgeable about practice at all!!I called several times a month ago to get my sons broken glasses fixed that have been defected since receiving them, she told me that's how they are supposed to be they did fix them but the assistant I was speaking to had no clue about his insurance not working and I was told to just keep calling and checking every so often when it was working at every other doctor??Ridiculous!!

I called them September 7 to set up a appointment. They informed me they would talk to the boss and see if they could squeeze me in the next day. 6 days passed and I hadn't heard a word I called them back and they said they are so busy they couldn't give me a appointment that I would be placed on a waiting list to get a appointment!! Now here we are Oct 1st and I still haven't heard a word from them. I drive by this place about 3-5 times a day and they never have a full parking lot so I don't understand what the problem is, I will take my business elsewhere.. disappointed I have to go to Gulfport to see a eye doctor

My father-in-law recommend Dr Newman to us. Now my husband and I both go there. We haven't had any problem with anyone. Would recommend the Newman eye clinic to anyone.

Today was my first time visiting Newman's.. Everybody was really nice and I didn't have to wait long to get seen. Definitely recommend.
