Kahoka Family Eyewear

My family had Influenza B last week and my wife and I both thought that the other had rescheduled eye appointments for our children. When I showed up for two other appointments today, the woman who spoke to me informed me that they were "no call, no shows" and would not be rescheduled. I asked for grace for the situation and was told that they wouldn't change their stance on the matter. We promptly left and will find another provider. I would've loved to do business in Kahoka but a business with no grace is a business that I cannot get behind.

We love it here! My 3 girls and I all have had regular appointments with them and the girls there are so welcoming. I personally love that they are always right there to help with fitting glasses and making sure we are satisfied. Dr. Heather is so great and patient with my little ones and Athena is always so sweet and professional. It is so nice to have such a great facility like this in our little community!

My glasses that I got there were garbage. I can see better with the eye prescription from 8 years ago. In addition, they are to good for medicaid kids. Well, not enough money in it for them. Folks go elsewhere your vision nor your child's vision means anything to them,only your wallet. Sad no real eye doctor close. But, best take the oats bus, hitch a ride, don't waste time lining this places bank account. Really, Dr Seuss , will do a better job.

The absolute worst experience in my life when it comes to eye care. Had my initial exam and then heard nothing for two months. I had to call them daily to find out what was going on with my glasses and contacts. Finally got fed up with excuse after excuse and unanswered phone calls. Went into the office in person, and they said that I couldn't be fitted for glasses but they had a voucher from the Lions club worth $70 towards contacts. But it took a trip to the office to find out as they never called me to let me know. Had my records transferred to another eye care facility in Hannibal. Had absolutely no problems dealing with the new people. Would not recommend this place at all. Horrible customer service. The fact that they did not contact me for 2 months shows their lack of respect for their patients.

I couldn't get them to communicate with me. I had to call them to get any information on the contact lenses I ordered. I waited 7 months to finally get my contact lenses. They were too blurry to see out of. I was afraid to wait for them to replace them, so I got my money back. My biggest mistake was I got the prescription from them and I ordered my glasses on line. The prescription is too strong and now I have headaches. I honestly would never recommend them to anyone.

Very comfortable atmosphere. The receptionist is very helpful, friendly, and will go out of her way to help meet your needs. The staff will do everything that they can do to help you with your eye care needs- whatever they are! They also do their best to schedule you as soon as they can according to your schedule. Personally, I would not even consider going anywhere else!

The ladies at this were great at helping me checking my eyes and all and the ladies love what they are doing helping people see better and understand their eyes and I like to say thank you ladies. Btw their tree in front of you look up you see a cute bird house up on the branch it's not hard to miss it's very cute.

I have been dealing with these people for 3 months,they accept medicaid but not the 1I had. I changed medicaid plan..guess what they don't take that plan either. My grandson broke his glasses 3 months ago,they are glued now but looking to get new ones. The receptionist is so rude that I'd never ever go back.I hope your visits are better than mine
