Kimberling Vision Center

I have been going to Kimberling Vision Center for several years. Dr. Williams and her entire staff are dedicated to providing quality care and spend time discussing your concerns as well as educating you about eye/vision health. You can expect a much more thorough exam than just reading a few letters on the screen. They take time to explain things - I have never left the office feeling like I am just another person to push through on the days schedule. I believe Dr Williams and her entire staff truly care about not only your eyes, but about you as a person.

I've been a patient of Dr. Debra for approximately 10 years or more. She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She spends time with patients, educating on the many things we can do for our eye health. Her office is pleasant and friendly. It's a very positive place. I'm impressed by the kind tones and pleasant relationships I sense among the staff. Dr. Debra has worked with me with great patience as we've tried to make contacts work for me again. Bill, the optician - just recently fitted me with a new pair of glasses that are awesome! I shopped the frames in their office and found a selection of price points and styles (affordable, value frames that were stylish to the more expensive and stylish!).

We had an unfortunate experience at Kimberling Vision Center. I found the clinic's practices to be questionable and potentially unlawful. As a family of three seeking eye examinations, I contacted the clinic and provided our insurance information to confirm their acceptance. The receptionist assured me that they did and requested that I complete some paperwork, which I diligently completed and submitted two weeks before our scheduled appointment. However, during the examinations, we were unexpectedly informed that the clinic does not accept vision insurance and instead bills all services as medical expenses. This resulted in us having to pay the full amount for all three examinations and a pair of glasses she said my son urgently needed due to the dilation process. We paid approximately $300 on the day of the examinations and later received an additional bill for $400. Feeling misled and taken advantage of, I contacted the clinic to express my concerns. The receptionist offered an apology and mentioned that they typically inform patients about their non-acceptance of vision insurance when appointments are made. Furthermore, the clinic indicated that they primarily cater to older adults and rarely encounter patients of our age (40). This raised concerns about potential mistreatment or exploitation of vulnerable individuals. I hope that this matter can be addressed appropriately to ensure ethical and transparent practices at Kimberling Vision Center.

I received the most extensive eye exam I've ever had for a regular exam. Dr. Debra Williams is very thorough she explains everything to you in detail, and even sent me a customized eye health letter in the mail.

My allergies have been so bad this year & I have been miserable. Itchy, burning, watering, rubbing them until they actually hurt. Dr. Debbie put plugs in my lower tear ducts & in 10 minutes the misery has stopped. I mean it is amazing. I have gone to her for years, but this is the first time I have had this done & it is remarkable how quickly she put them in, painless & wow it is done!!!

I'm sharing my experience with you all. I have been a patient of Dr.Debra Williams for years. She has helped me above and beyond. I highly recommend her and her staff. Best eye doctor ever.

I had a great exam and great fitting for eyeglasses however I was surprised they do not take any insurance - I have to file the claim with my Medicare Advantage myself and I felt the receptionist was very rude - they indicated their average patient age was over 80 so I am very surpised they do not work with any medicare supplemental insurance but it sounds like they don't work with any insurance.

In Kimberling City for the week and I broke off the temple part of my eye glasses. I stopped in and Bill was able temporarily fix them at no charge. They work great!
