Wanted to drop a quick note to express my appreciation for Jason A. Ricks, O.D. Met him along the side of the road on Saturday, July 20th north of Stanford. I had stopped to help an older couple who had car trouble. He also stopped to help. He ended up giving the couple a ride to Stanford so they could get their vehicle towed and repaired. I thoroughly enjoyed my encounter with him. Fantastic considerate "younger man". I am not a patient, but if he exhibits the characteristics he demonstrated along the road with patients, I would highly recommend you make him your eye care provider!! Thanks Jason!! This was my first time going here and the experience was okay. I had a older gentleman exam my eyes and I was told he was retired but helps out sometimes. He was very friendly but couldn't seem to work the mechanics properly and when I asked if I had a stigmatism he said I did not. When I got my contacts in the mail I was very confused because they were blurry come to find out I do indeed have a stigmatism and I was putting the wrong prescription in each eye, with all that aside I was told I was all set when the appointment was over and I paid what I thought was for my visit and contacts. I later get a bill in the mail for 200$ Just for my exam , I call and they tell me they don't take my insurance. I'm very disappointed because they should have told me the day I checked in and got all of the paper work all set. Otherwise I would have went else where that took my insurance. With these guys being the only eye doctors within hours you would think they would be a bit better with explaining something like this. I will now be traveling and hour and half for my eye doctors because I refuse to give another penny to these people!

I don't even want to give them one star. Sent a letter which had wrong address to confirm appointment. Letter came back to them but they didn't bother calling to confirm. Now don't have have an appointment so will not be going or I guess trying to go back to them. Very rude!

Had a nice experience here. Workers were nice and helpful. One in particular was Jennifer. Made the whole experience easy and fun. Definitely made me want to choose this place again.

Love the staff here! Very friendly and welcoming vibe in the office. Jen was really nice and helpful and I definitely recommend this place to other people!
