Barrington Family Eye Care

The ladies spent so much time with me trying to help me find the glasses that would work for me. They were all so patient and kind. Dr. Poulin always takes the time to explain and answer all my questions. Everyone is helpful and pleasant. Been a patient here for many years, definitely recommend.My only complaint is the mask policy; I typically do not patronize ANY business that requires masks be worn, but they are unfortunately the only Optometrist office that accepts my insurance, and I need my glasses, so I deal with it, but certainly do not like or agree with it.

I trust this doctor, she really cares. You're not going to be selling you something unless the doctor explains why. The staff is well versed in the art of their craft and will explain everything and answer questions Feels like your with family. This is how I feel about these folks. If your a medical buff the over the years has collected and displays them properly, respectively. Very interesting. I love it.

Absolutely terrible. Never doing business here again. When I first went, everyone was super nice. I picked out glasses and everything seemed to be good. It has been close to 2 months now and I still do not have my glasses. I was told twice that they received them damaged. I asked them to give me a refund because they clearly are not providing the service that I paid for and they told me that they do not do refunds and that I just have to keep waiting until they finally get a good non damaged pair. This last time they said the glasses were good, but when I got there they said they were scratched, 2 hours out of my day wasted. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

It took 3 months and multiple calls to finally get my glasses. They called last Tuesday to say they were ready. I go to pick them up that Thursday and the door is locked- I call & the outgoing message says they're closed for renovations. The staff is nice and I wanted to spend my $ at a non-chain place, but I won't be going back here again.

Very poorly run business. Dirty inside, looks like a secondhand store. Doesn't answer calls, doesn't call you to let you know when your glasses are in. Everyone in there is very unmotivated to help. Totally unprofessional.been waiting over a month for glasses and was told it would only be a week. I go there today to find out there closed for 2 weeks for the holiday. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I paid for a pair of reading glasses almost two months ago... no glasses yet. I have called them multiple times. I was frequently told that someone would call me back but I have NEVER received any calls back. I like the doctor but their service is unacceptable. I cannot express how disappointed I am with their service.

The service here was awful. Traveling from over a half hour for eye care for my toddler only to be turned away even arriving early to the appointment being told I can't fill out the intake paperwork that I never received via postal. Wouldn't recommend this business to anyone they'll waste your time.

my experience has been less than enjoyable with Barrington family eye care. I chose the practice because they were the only eye doctor that would take my insurance so for that I'm appreciative. The doctor was professional, giving my eye exam and up until that point everything was kosher . after the eye exam I went and chose a pair of frames for-my lenses and was told that it would be three weeks for the glasses to be received and I was also told that I would get a phone call when they came in . that was on May 12, 2025 , today it is August 29, 2025. I have not received my glasses yet. I have not received a phone call and I have been there and told that my frames were broken so they had to get me a new pair that was a month ago still haven't received them at this point. I don't know what to do because I need the glasses and they're the only people that take my insurance so I don't recommend purchasing your eyewear from this place. If you want an eye exam they're fine for that but other than that not reliable.
