The eye doctor was very detailed and took the time to show and explain to me everything about my eye health. Very kind and personable. Best eye doctor experience I have ever had. The sales associate took the time to make me feel comfortable and helped me to pick out the right glasses. I can see so much clearer now. Thank you for all of your help. You are both wonderful

Definitely a different experience than most eye drs. If you want a personal experience, with an old school touch yet up to date care - this is the place for you. Kind and patient service.

We were very happy with our experience at Stratham family eye care. Dr. Barry is great with kids. When I was there I mentioned that my eye was irritating me. He fitted me in for a visit that day. He took his time with me was very thorough. His wife who works there too is very helpful and friendly.

I have a tricky vision problem so I see a specialist for my eye exam and special lenses. But I have received so much assistance from Susan when choosing frames. She is patient, offers her honest opinion, and even makes it fun.Their selection of women's frames is excellent and it is a comfortable, family friendly atmosphere. No sales pitches, fair pricing, and professional but friendly service every time!

My husband and I have been going to Stratham Family Eye Care for years and have always been satisfied with the professional, personalized service we've received. The prescriptions are always accurate with no problems but beyond that, much care is taken by the optometrist's wife to make sure our glasses fit perfectly which we have found over the years is so important.

As a professional woman and business owner myself, I know how important it is to provide great customer service. Unfortunately this business has not provided me with that as a first time customer. I have waited 6 months for my contacts, and even with COVID affecting everyone I would've expected a delay but not a 6 month delay. I have called and spoke to Susan many times, who had assured me that my contacts would be in mid-August. It is now September and I have not heard back from Stratham Family Eye Care. I would not do business with this company again, they have taken my money and provided nothing. NOT reliable.

I always prefer small business, but this was a horrible experience. The doctor is nice, and was educational, but the practice is completely disorganized and unprofessional. They don't open when they say they do and are late opening the office appointments and can't stay on task during a conversation. I waited 6 weeks for my contacts to come in because she "forgot to order them", even after calling once a week after the first 3 weeks. When I finally picked them up, they had ordered my old prescription, which I already had a new pair left, and I had to wait again for them to order the right ones. They refused to give me my prescription so I could just order them elsewhere. Susan was defensive, combative, and snarky for no reason at all. I try to be nice and patient - I know how hard it can be to run a small business, but this was just awful. I made the mistake of paying in full ahead for glasses. When I realized I overpaid I called 2 minutes after I left and asked not order them. She said she hadn't ordered them, so all good. When they gave me a refund, they shorted me $54. It's not worth the hassle of dealing with this practice again, and all I got was a scribbled piece of scrap paper as a "quote" so I'm just going to eat the loss and find a professional outfit next time.

Waste of time. Read other's review and save yourself the aggravation. They seem friendly, but don't let it fool you. I waited over 3 weeks for them to "order" my glasses and they left me high and dry after I tried to call them. Went somewhere else and was able to get my glasses in 1 week. I do not write bad reviews as I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but after reading other's reviews, they need to fix the problem....
