Dr. Nicholas M. Kavcsak, Optometric Physician

I made an appointment with Dr. Kavscak to get my eyes checked after not being able to afford it for 10 years. He was very patient with me and went slow. My mother and I had an appointment with him on the same day. He was really understanding and kind. I know from my exam that he worked hard to make it so I had glasses that would help me. He was even nice when I kept looking away during the dilation part of the exam. The light in my eye burned like it was on fire but he was caring and tried to work with me. I must say I would go again.

Excellent, Thorough Eyecare My husband and I have been going to Dr. Kavcsak for several years now. We both are impressed with the fact that he actually takes time to discuss issues and educate us as patients about our eyes. Going to Dr. Kavcsak is the one and only healthcare annual appointment I do not dread which is a testament to his work ethic and thoughtful personality. He doesn't rush patients unlike most other doctors nowadays who try to squeeze in as many patients per hour as possible. Sandy, who runs the office part of the practice, is efficient and also a refreshing change from many doctors' offices in which the admin parts act abruptly and uncaring. We drive twenty minutes each way to go here even though there are other options locally. We would drive farther as this level of quality eye care is difficult to find.

My wife tried to make an appointment & the receptionist suggested she should see an eye doctor in the town we live in. We're only 15 minutes away and were recommended by someone. When she asked "why?", the receptionist said the doctor's not available today. So she asked when the doctor would be available and the receptionist said she'll have to call her back cause the doctor will be on vacation. Receptionist seemed pretty rude.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Kavcsak since 1985. SUPERIOR CARE ALWAYS have we received here. Staff is and has always been phenomenal. Please never retire! Thank you Anne Murdock

In ten years, Ive always had a good experience and every reason to believe he is an excellent eye doc. Never a problem with the receptionist either.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Poor customer service. All they wanted to do was sell you up. Out dated business. Do not recommend
