Dr. Martinez is lovely, professional, knowledgeable and very down to earth. I've seen her twice- once on a Saturday for an allergic reaction and most recently yesterday for an annual exam. The entire office from the front staff, the medical assistant along with Dr. Martinez are so nice and a real pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable about insurance procedures and sent multiple appointment reminders. Highly recommend this office - especially because they were able to fit me in on a Saturday- great local eye care, thank you !

Just started coming here with my wife. Loved the relaxed feel and zero pressure environment; whereas in the past at other offices/different doctors pushed us to buy new frames as a matter of fact rather than as an option. Dr. Martinez Was extremely personable, nice and informative to a degree where the whole appointment was quick, easy and friendly. Both the wife and I are looking forward to being long term patients here.

While I had posted a glowing review of Califon Eye Associates just seven months ago, I would like to further share how indebted I am to everyone in this Office. Just a day shy of three weeks ago, I called the office describing unnerving issues with my vision in one eye. I remain so very grateful to the member of the office staff who answered my phone call, listened to me while I described my symptoms, and the quickly scheduled me for an appointment just a few hours after I had called. Dr. Martinez examined my eye and explained that I had a retinal tear. She was the epitome of compassion and care during this entire process. The office staff then proceeded to schedule me for an appointment the following day at 9 AM (a Saturday!) with NJRetina - retina specialists. I had successful laser surgery to repair the tear that very day, and my follow-up appointment confirmed that I have regained 20/20 vision. (There is a separate review for all of the individuals at NJRetina too!) The minute you walk in the door, you are warmly welcomed. The reception personnel are so genuinely sociable and responsive. There is an obvious collegiality among the staff which enhances their interactions with their patients. They all go above and beyond. It is such a cozy atmosphere. Within less than a minute, I knew that I was in good hands with Dr. Martinez. She listened to my concerns, and made me feel cared for. She was responsive, efficient, and truly seemed to enjoy her work. ....just a great office staffed with consummate professionals!

Great professional service. Dr. Mullin has been terrific with identifying issues before they become serious conditions. He has been my eye doctor for over 30 years. Extremely competent and an asset to me and my eye care.

I have been going to Califon Eye Associates for over a decade. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The doctors are knowledgeable. For the last two years I had my eyes examined by Dr. Lisa Ruffle and I am very pleased. I would not consider going anywhere else.

My VSP eye insurance was no longer accepted at my last eye doctor's office. Fortunately, this place does and I gave them a try. The place was very clean and organized. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the reception front desk. They took my info down. Heads up to anyone who's reading this, they have a new patient's form on their website so you could fill it out before hand, which was what I did so I didn't have to wait long. The optometrist, Dr. Lisa Ruffle, was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable about my eyes and caring towards me as a patient. She listened to my concerns and attended them. Even though this was my first time at the office, she treated me as if I was her patient for a long time and knew my concerns right away. Overall, great experience. I definitely hope I would continue to be their patient so long as I live in the area and they continue to accept my insurance.

Califon eye associates staff is very friendly, helpful and prompt. No waiting, and Dr. Mullen spent a good amount of time, explaining everything.
