We've been seeing Dr. Wong for over four years for my daughter's Ortho-K lenses, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is incredibly attentive and thorough--never missing a single detail in her care. Dr. Wong is also very easy to communicate with, both for me as a parent and for my daughter, and he always takes the time to answer every question we have. IF YOU'RE A PARENT PLEASE READ THIS! This review was a long time coming but still as relevant today as it was almost 5 years ago. As patients of Dr. Wong at Sylvan Family Eyecare, we truly cannot say enough good things about him and his team. Dr. Wong is incredibly clear, informative, transparent, and thorough in his approach to care. His gentle bedside manner immediately puts you at ease, especially when navigating difficult decisions as a parent. The office itself feels welcoming and comfortable, with a beautifully decorated, boutique-like atmosphere that makes every visit pleasant. The staff is friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring--everything runs smoothly and thoughtfully. They have the best selection of frames to fit anyone's needs! Super stylish, great brands, and love the fact that they have frames to accommodate small nose-bridged individuals like myself! Most importantly, Dr. Wong helped our young daughter who had severe, aggressively progressive myopia. He carefully guided us through Ortho-K therapy. He gave us every option and every detail that came along with it, taking the time to educate us and answer all our questions. He provided a solution and treatment plan that works perfectly for our family and gave us peace of mind, knowing we were doing everything possible to avoid future complications that could impact her vision as she grows older. Because of his expertise and reassurance, our daughter now has a significantly better quality of life and literally gets to see in 20/20 vision everyday without having to wear glasses or contact lenses throughout the day. Although my husband and I had to change insurance and subsequently offices since Dr. Wong does not accept our current plan, our daughter continues to see him. We trust no one else with her eye care and are more than willing to pay out of pocket to continue seeing the best of the best. That alone is a true testament to Dr. Wong's skill, dedication, and craft. Other offices we've visited simply can't hold a candle to him. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Wong and his incredible staff for their compassion, expertise, and for giving our daughter a brighter, healthier future. In this day and age where kids and screen time go hand in hand, I highly recommend you trust no one else for the future of your family's eyes.

I'm very OCD about my vision and Lawrence has been simply amazing to work with. Her attention to detail, patience and professionalism is amazing. I can't recommend them enough.

His attention to detail and dedication really stand out! he always made sure my eyesight stayed stable and never got worse. Every appointment felt thorough, and he always took the time to explain everything clearly and check that the fit and effectiveness of the lenses were perfect. I have been a patient of Dr. Wong's for the past 9 years. I got glasses in second grade and then ortho-k and myopia control in fourth grade. Dr. Wong created the best environment for a young patient making sure I got the best care possible. Ortho-k has made my experience playing sports so much better and improved my daily life. I am so thankful for Dr. Wong with the support he has given me to make sure the contacts fit me properly, weren't uncomfortable, and I was having an overall good experience with them.
