I found Marlboro family eye care through my eye med insurance. They have been amazing in all facets. They got me in quickly and everyone was extremely friendly. From the women at the check in counter. To the med techs all the way to Dr. Jane I really liked everyone. Dr Jane was extremely thorough and what I liked best was how she explained everything. Amazing staff this was my first time there and first eye doctor appointment in a long time. Every person I spoke with was nice they walked me through everything and kept me aware every step of the way. My insurance plan and what was covered was explained to me perfectly. I would definitely recommend this doctor to everyone.

I was a new patient here and hadn't had an eye exam in years, so I appreciated how thorough the entire visit was. The staff walked me through each test, explained what they were for, and asked before doing anything additional--never any pressure. I also loved that they clearly explained the cost of each test upfront so I could make informed decisions without feeling blindsided. Dr. Maryams was exceptional. She was incredibly kind and took her time with me even though I was one of the last appointments of the day. She listened to all my concerns, reviewed every test result in a way I could actually understand, and made sure I felt comfortable with each step of the plan. When I chose to get tear duct plugs, she even arranged to do the procedure right then instead of making me come back for another appointment, which I really appreciated. She was considerate about insurance, had great bedside manners. Even though the office is a bit of a drive for me, I would gladly return to her for any future eye issues. Highly recommend Dr. Maryams!

I fully trust Marlboro Family Eye Care with my vision. The doctor and staff are amazing, The eye exams are through with the results being clearly explained. For example, the doc identified a hole in my retina. She recommended I see a Retina Specialist. Additionally, the office is friendly, comfortable, and scheduling is great. BTW - I went to a Retina Specialist. He refered to Marlboro Family Eye Care records, found the hole and I had it repaired.

I brought my 7-year-old daughter in for an eye exam. Even though we had an appointment, we waited over 30 minutes just to be seen. When the doctor finally came in, the exam lasted less than 5 minutes, and she immediately said my daughter needed glasses. When I asked if there were other options because her vision isn't that bad, the only alternative suggested was contact lenses--for a 7-year-old, which felt completely unreasonable. The doctor then put eye drops in my daughter's eyes and told us to wait another 30 minutes. I explained clearly that we had another appointment and could not wait that long. At that point, we were told we could do a photo of the back of the eye instead and get the same results. After completing that, we were charged $164. When I asked for the eye exam results, I was told there were no results because the test was "not finished." This was never explained beforehand, yet we were still charged in full. The entire visit felt rushed, poorly communicated, and incredibly unprofessional. Long waits, minimal examination, inappropriate recommendations for a child, unexpected charges, and then being told there are no results to show for it. I left feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and honestly bad for even being there. I would not recommend this office, especially for parents bringing young children.

Everyone here was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The doctor and medical staff took the time to explain everything in detail, including the benefits of the baseline imaging of the back of my eye, which I really appreciated. The optician was excellent -- very knowledgeable and patient -- and explained the latest advances in progressive lenses, anti-reflective coatings, and the difference between polycarbonate and glass lenses. Overall, it was a great experience start to finish. Highly recommend!

She took her time to be very thorough with the exam and explained everything clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence in her care. The staff were also professional, welcoming, and efficient, making the whole visit smooth and pleasant.
