This is an excellent practice. They do not rush you into surgeries or procedures and take time with their patients. Who doesn't want a thorough but conservative, calm doctor to treat their eyes of all things? The assistant tech person also gave me tips on how to save money on glasses. All around I felt I was in the best and most conscientious hands here.

An exceptionally well run office from checking in to getting next appointment checking out. Everyone is on their job working efficiently and with personal care for patient. Dr. Gutman and assistant always arrive with smiles and brief conversation. The doctor is professional and answers all my questions/concerns before and during appointment--never rushed and yet always on time. I get an eye injection for wet macular degeneration and doctor's procedure is done in 3 seconds.

My eyes have been extremely red dry and irritated for 11 months. I met with 6 Otometrist, 3 2 allergist, a couple MDs and no one could figure out what was causing it. Finally I made an appointment with John Barbato. Not only was he overly confident, but he was extremely friendly and was adamant that this was a challenge that he was happy to undertake. I knew after the first visit that he was going to get me right. 3 weeks later, I am 95% of the way recovered with a sustainable plan to ensure my eyes were back to some level of normal.
