Update: We visited EyeCare Consultants of NJ today and had a very good experience. The service was smooth, and both Dr. Jay and Dr. Swati were kind, patient, and professional, especially with our child. The care and attention we received were reassuring, and we left feeling confident and satisfied. Thank you for the quality service. ----- We initially faced a very disappointing situation with our appointment at EyeCare Consultants of NJ, due to a miscommunication regarding pediatric services. At the time, it was frustrating because we had provided all details in advance and planned our day accordingly. However, I truly appreciate the way this matter was handled afterward. Dr. Swati personally reached out to me, spoke very politely, listened patiently, and showed genuine concern about our experience. She was extremely kind, professional, and down-to-earth. She acknowledged the issue, took responsibility, and assured us that she would look into it and propose a proper solution. Mistakes can happen, but what truly matters is how they are addressed--and Dr. Swaty handled this situation with empathy, respect, and professionalism. That follow-up call completely changed our perception. Thank you for taking the time to care, communicate, and work toward resolving the issue. We truly appreciate it and are hopeful for a positive outcome.

Never been here before. Literally just phone calls.. just to book an appt.... and the lack of empathy is insane. All I wanted was some help and they have been nothing but nasty, hurtful and very insensitive. furthermore, I was extremely patient with you guys And I have a clear understanding that it is a very busy and frustrating time for any individuals because of the holidays. It's not easy!!!!! clearly !!!! I have never had a phone call with a medical professional like how I did on December 9 of 2025. I am in an extreme amount of pain and you guys refuse to see me... The woman that I spoke to on the phone And I quote " There is no reason for you to come here if you Saw another eye doctor" I think it is highly important for me to see a specialist!!!! not a regular eye doctor.....especially when it comes to my eyes cause I didn't go to a specialist yesterday... And if you guys truly cared about your new patient, you would've made An effort. The only effort you guys made was to make sure to give me attitude.... I was extremely reasonable with you guys because someone mentioned to me that there was an available appointment in Edison And I was WILLING to take the drive. Unfortunately, you guys are very unprofessional and extremely insensitive once again. The fact that you have call people unreasonable and inpatient as a PROFESSIONAL facility is beyond me .... you do not care about your patients or if I get better.

The doctors here were highly recommended by a specialist I work with. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know. The practice overbooked so much that there were no seats available in the waiting room and a line of people standing. After an hour of waiting, there had been no updates at all. I had to leave.

Excellent experience at Eyecare Consultants of NJ. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional, and the doctor was thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend!

Dr Jai is the absolute best, he is so knowledgeable, yet quick and to the point. He also cares and monitors you for anything he sees as a future issue. Highly recommend him and Dr. Swati as well.

Start to finish it was a great experience, the staff put you at ease, and the Doctor took her time and explained everything to us in terms that were easily understood. Did not feel rushed and highly recommend.

The wait to see the doctor is always too long. Maybe their should be less patients per time slot to show more consideration for the patients time vs the business benefits

After talked to Dr. Jai about a few things about my appointment I can say that Dr. Jai and his stuff could be busy place but they really care about their patients and they do whatever they can do for their patient's comfort at the place. I definitely recommend this place to everybody who needs to taken care of their eyes. Thank you Dr.Jai Parekh.
