I'm a new patient, and my first experience went very well. I left a message. Nikki returned my call promptly, and Dr. G saw me the next day. Nikki is efficient and helpful. Dr. G was professional and kind. I hope the glasses' prescription turn out as good as it looked when I was testing. This is the first eye doctor in 7 years that I will go back to again.

DO NOT COME HERE. Me and so many others could go on for days about this place. It's worth it to go out of town. Your insurance will even pay for a ride for you to go out of town, the number is on the back of your insurance card. The first time I came here, they made my glasses wrong. I told Nicki and she told me to give it 30 days for my eyes to adjust so I did. When I called back after 30 days to let her know my eyes never adjusted, she told me that since it was after 30 days, I would have to pay out of pocket. So I just waited until my insurance would pay for another pair. Here I am trying to make another appointment years later and I'm consistently being left on hold and HUNG UP ON. Like Nicki answers the phone then immediately hangs it up without saying anything. The AC was broken and they asked if I wanted to keep my appointment for 1pm, I said yes. I was running a little late and called to let her know, I got there at 1:06 to which I was told the Doctor already left and I was supposed to be there within 10 mins after the appointment time (the grace period). I was literally there before 10 mins at 1:06 which I told her but she just kept saying the same thing. I could tell she couldn't even justify the doctor's actions because he didn't even wait the grace period like a true medical professional. In fact I left the building at exactly 1:10 when I was done making a new appointment. Which took a few minutes because Nicki was training somebody. The place was NOT HOT. I'm 8 months pregnant, I know hot. Stepping into that place from outside was refreshing but apparently it was not good enough for them to treat customers and locals with basic decency. This place and the workers here are trash. I'm canceling my appointment.

Friday I picked up my new glasses after two weeks. Ms. Ortega behind the desk did not see any reason to inform me of their arrival. Entirely wrong frames, but not a huge deal. Tried them on for 30 seconds. left. The next day, started getting head aches. my new prescription was wrong. couldn't see anything clearly out of right eye for distance. called them Tuesday morning and she became hostile real quick. I explained the problem and she said she ask me how they were. in reality she asked me how did they feel. Ms. Ortega refused to allow the doctor to correct the prescription free of charge as most do, or anything else. She quickly put me on hold and just now after 5 mins, hung up. The doctor was more impatient than rude. my assessment? They need much work in improving their customer Service behaviors. Please, go to Clovis or Albuquerque if you want quality care all the way around. Save yourself the nasty attitude of the childish girl behind the counter. I will be reporting to New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department Board and Commission.

The phone system at Family Vision Care Clinic is horrible. Called several times. Once I was able to speak to someone I was placed on hold for ten minutes and soon after that I was disconnected. Tried calling back several more times and could not get through to anyone, but the answering machine. All I needed to do was make a simple payment. It took me all day to get this done.

I am a 70yr old grandparent of two beautiful children. I've always taken them to your office for their exams and glasses. Since COVID no one answers phone calls to makeappointments and the doors are locked,

My personal opinion this place is trash and the people that are employed here as well, I'm surprised this place is still up and running and even licensed to operate, the girl at the front desk needs to go to school and educate her self on this type of work to get a better understanding on how a company like this is ran. I took my daughter to this place for a eye exam and new prescription back in July 2022 of this year and now in December 2022 is when I got her new prescription they didn't hesitate to call and inform me that they were already for puck up. Please do yourself and the community a favor and shut your self down.

Don't try to do business with these folks. We called to see about coming to get glasses adjusted and was told they would be there until 3 pm. We showed up at 2:30 and the door was locked. We knocked on the door and they came to the door but wouldn't open the door. Mouthed and motioned something to us and walked off. This place is #1 on my list for worst customer service experience.

had an eye exam costing over $400.00 to get new contacts. for acuvue 2 contacts. upon trying to order the contacts, walmart contacts. was told, not only was this an incorrect perscrption for this product but also incomplete. the office staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Gutowski seemed competent. What it comes down to is, I drove 75 miles one way to get an eye exam that cost over $400.00 and received a prescription that is totally usesless.
