Can't say enough about these folks! After going to the big "chains" for years, decided to search a small local business with good reviews! Dr. Craig performed the most comprehensive eye exam I can ever remember! Excellent conversation/knowledge about professional baseball too! The staff, from Kristen to Jeannine were excellent. Never pushing me in one direction or another in selecting my frames, to beautiful fit and exceptional final product. You are even greeted by their wonderful pet dog, Mindy! Do not hesitate to call for an appointment. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Burnt Hills Optical has an excellent staff and the eye doctor is fantastic. He's the best provider I've seen for eye care in two states! He did a lot of work others I've gone to for eye exams in the past neglected to do. The provider here cares about the patient's specific eye care needs and for me he gave recommendations on co-occuring dry eye and eye allergies. There is definitely a caring and professional atmosphere hare. I will definitely be a regular client here and they offer quicker appointments than most providers in the area!

My husband and I both had our eye exams and picked out new frames and lenses. I can't say enough good things about our experiences. The Doc explained everything as he was doing the exam, and he not only checked our vision, he evaluated the health of our eyes. All of the opticians were wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. And the office pup is just about the cutest little thing I have ever seen!!

Went there for the first time the other day as they were one of the few places covered by my insurance that were not booking weeks or months out. I'm glad I went! Their entire staff is professional, kind, and helpful. They treat you more like a person than just 'a customer.' I was also surprised by their nice selection/variety of frame styles. I would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Burnt Hills Optical for several years. The care and knowledge of the staff goes above and beyond any place I have been. I value and appreciate the advice and attention to detail not just when selecting or fitting frames but for my overall eye health. Very thorough exams, and even though I have anxiety with the puff of air, they make me feel relaxed and never rushed. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend BHO.

What a great place! After many years without the need I had to break down and get real glasses due to my aging. Decided to skip eyeglass supermarkets like VisionWorks and seek a local provider with real professionals and decided to try BHO. So glad I did! Kristen, Dave, Dr. Craig, and Grace were wonderful to deal with and I got a very good deal. I highly, highly recommend BHO for your eyeglass needs. Tom

All I can say is wow. My latest experience was due to a problem with my aging eyeglass frames. One of The nose rests , where the glasses rest on your nose had broken. I simply called and explained the problem. The answer was, come-on over...we can see you without an appt. I stopped over, the manager "Dave" took a look and said.."no problem...have a seat, it will just take a couple of minutes". Bingo, in less than 5 mins, the glasses were repaired and I was on my way. And, there was no charge It certainly "pays" to do business with local firms. What a positive experience!
