Dr. Paloma Salam (518 Eyes)

10/10 Never had a better experience at an eye doctor appointment. It wasn't rushed at like I've felt at other big chain glasses stores. The staff was great, super professional, no hard sells. Dr. Salam was absolutely wonderful, taking her time to educate me on healthy eye practices without overwhelming me with information. I'll happily be sending the rest of my family here and will be coming back to order my contacts and to recycle my daily contacts packaging when the time comes.

FOREWARNING: GO TO YELP TO SEE MY FULL REVIEW, AS MINE ON GOOGLE "MYSTERIOUSLY" DISAPPEARED!. DO NOT BELIEVE MOST OF THE FRAUDULENT 5 STAR REVIEWS FOR THIS EYE PRACTICE. IF ANY ARE LEGITIMATE ITS BECAUSE THAT REVIEWER HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND WAS EITHER BECAUSE YOU WERE LUCKY OR THAT YOU DIDN'T QUESTION OR COMPLAIN ABOUT THE EYEWEAR YOU RECEIVED. THIS PRACTICE IS BEING DESTROYED BY AN ASSISTANT NAMED DANIEL. He should not be a part of this practice. He is rude, condescending, and unprofessional if you have any questions, complaints about your eyewear or lenses. I had witnesses to what happened to me there. Horrible experience ever!!! Again, see my full Yelp review because for some reason I couldn't put the same lengthy experience review there!! P.S. they always berate any customer who gives bad reviews and they make up tons of excuses and make it look like the customer was wrong and that Daniel isn't culpable for his actions to customers. So many REAL reviewers experienced the same things. I'm horrified that my first review I put to Google magically "disappeared "!! Yup my name is Karen, but I'm not that meme "Karen" thats always viciously out there. I never complain because my name is Karen. But what happened today, I had to say something. BEWARE!

I would like to thank Danial for once again great and fast service to repair to my glasses. I was spray painting when a malfunction occurred and the gun leaked and I was sprayed in the face. My glasses came off and then I stepped on them. Danial made an excellent repair in a very short time. This is the second time he has made a great repair. I had purchased my glasses there so was not acharge. Thanks again. When I need a new script I plan on going back to 518 Eyes. Maurice (Skip) Goyette Scotia N Y

I love this eye doctor. Very professional and really spends time to explain eye mechanics and what she sees in my eyes. Dr. Salam really loves what she does.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable staff, took the time to explain all aspects of the visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Salams office.

Today we brought our 9 year old daughter in for her first eye exam with Dr Salam. I found the entire office staff to be welcoming and friendly towards us all; in particular, I truly appreciated how they all talked to and interacted with our daughter, and not just with us, explaining everything that they were doing and why. During the exam, I found Dr. Salam especially warm and engaging; she was kind and very thorough with finding the right prescription for my daughter's first pair of glasses. Afterwards, Daniel was very helpful (and sweet for letting her try on so many frames, in order to find the one she liked best!) In getting us all set up. The entire experience was wonderful, and i look forward to setting up an appointment for myself with Dr Salam in the very near future! Thank you so much for a great experience!

The young man at the front desk is very nice very accommodating. As for the man that does your eyeglasses he was nice but a little pushy. As for the eye doctor she was very sweet with me very informative

Dr. Paloma Salam is fantastic! My sin had a yearly appointment today and it went really well! She answered all his questions and showed him the images of his eyes! Thank you Dr. Salam for all you do! Highly recommend her!!!
