Fantastic experience here. Dr Silverman was thorough and personable. Really took the time to go over things and give solid advice re the future of my personal eyesight. Picking our glssses was a breeze and they had a great selection even for the cheap 2/$95 promotion. Maggie who took my measurements and tied up finished ends was wonderful as well. By far the best chain eye exam / glasses store encounter I've had & I've been going to various one for years. My go to store from now on!

Maggie was so patient and sweet to me. She was so helpful. Dr.Silverman was such a nice man , too. The whole process from start to finish was pleasant and I would definitely recommend them.

I have had the best experience at the Farmingville America's.Best. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They helped me choose frames that are very flattering on me.Thats just the beginning. Dr. Fred Silverman is an extraordinarily optometrist. Last year he thought he saw something going on with my retina and referred me to a retinal specialist. He was right. I have retinal telangectasia and need medication injected into my eye as well as intermittent laser surgery. He is skilled, takes all the time you need to get your prescription right. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Silverman is a fantastic optometrist that cares deeply about delivering quality care to his patients. He provides a thorough exam, explains the rationale behind prescription adjustments, and takes time to get to know his patients' medical history. Even though I've relocated to Brooklyn, I still make the trip to LI for my annual visit because I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Silverman.

First off, I would like to thank Dr. Fred Silverman, the store's optometrist, for providing excellent care and service. I went there a few weeks ago to get an eye exam, and a new pair of glasses. Dr Silverman was very informative and took his time to make sure every test went smoothly, and asked me more in-depth questions than I have been asked in the past, which made me feel more confident in America's Bests' services. As for the glasses, the price after insurance was reasonable. I will say, if it wasn't for insurance, you still get a good deal for a free eye exam and 2 pairs for 89.99, however, there are limitations. They have a decent selection of frames to choose from, and the wait time for glasses is a few weeks. I will be returning to this location in the future!

I went to the location at 2314 North Ocean Ave. Farmingville, NY 11738 and the staff were extremely friendly and professional in assisting me. My wait to see Dr. Silverman was brief as he was with another patient before me (maybe 5 minutes). Dr. Silverman was extremely friendly and comforting as he explained all of the steps of his examination. He explained my vision problems clearly and offered several options for my consideration. I am extremely pleased with my experience at this location and Highly Recommend Dr. Silverman. This America's Best is exceptional overall.

I was easily able to schedule an appointment online. The staff were very competent and friendly. I saw Dr. Fred Silverman who was very personable, informative and professional. Although I needed add-ons to my lenses the price was still reasonable. I would highly recommend using AB for your eye care needs.
