In my experience, even well-known contractors sometimes leave out finishing materials, fixtures, or hardware in their proposals, which can lead to unexpected surprises later in the project. With Golden Eye, everything was clear, detailed, and included the quality finishes we actually wanted. Their process made the entire experience far less stressful and kept what should be a fun project enjoyable and exciting. I also appreciated Michael's honesty and expertise. We used Golden-Eye for our home renovation and we can't speak highly enough of both the process and their entire team. We renovated shortly after covid and despite low supply inventory and skyrocketing material prices, Golden-Eye held true to their word and honored our fixed price proposal. My husband and I first met Mike Emmert and Rob Aquilina of Golden Eye Construction in August of 2020. We were immediately impressed by their knowledge and their approach to home renovation. We had previously met with other contractors to discuss exterior renovation work, but had become completely exasperated by the open-ended quotes we were given for certain aspects of our project. Golden Eye Construction offered an approach that consisted of a complete assessment of the project followed by presentation of a fixed price for the complete plan. Mike and Rob first worked with us to complete product selection to create a fixed price and schedule of payments due upon completion of certain aspects of the plan. Work began once all product selections had been received to minimize delay in the completion of the project. Unfortunately, my husband lost his life to COVID before the project was scheduled to start. Mike and Rob were so compassionate in storing the products and waiting for me to choose when I was ready to move forward with the work. This first project consisted of demolition and removal of decking, siding, windows and roofing and the installation of replacement windows, doors, siding, and roofing, construction of a front porch extension, installation of new garage doors, exterior lighting, foundation and masonry work for the porch and front walkway and the creation of a rear masonry patio. The fixed price approach was ideal because there were never hidden surprises or added costs unless I chose to add or make additional changes to the plan. The quality of work provided and the integrity of the employees of Golden Eye as well as the subcontractors employed by Golden Eye was always exceptional. In fact, I was so pleased with the process and work product that I thereafter hired Golden Eye three more projects to complete additional renovations my husband and I had planned. This work consisted of the complete renovation and replacement of a full bathroom, a master bathroom and a very large kitchen. Each time, Mike and Rob worked with me on product selection, and the quality of work has always been exceptional. It was particularly comforting to me to be able to work with such competent and honest professionals who truly had my best interests at heart. It is without hesitation that I recommend Golden Eye Construction for any and all home renovation projects.

The team at Golden Eye Construction walked me through the planning, product selection and project timeline. Mike, the owner, is very personable and understood my goals and desires for my renovation project. The project team Rob, Alex, Jose, and Nick we awesome. We lived in the house while it was going on - Alex and Nick built a temporary wall to keep the dust down in the other living space and allow us to go up and down the stairs without being in the construction zone.

We hired Golden Eye to build an extension on our home from 1893. It was very important for us that work to blend seemlesly with our Victorian home. We decided to use Golden eye based on other restorations we had observed and loved in our area. Working with a fixed budget allowed us to have a workable payment schedule without any last minute surprises. The Golden Eye team showed up every day working long hours. We were living through the reno with three kids one of whom was a newborn. Their builders and subcontractors couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We could not have been more happy with the outcome of our project. They finished on time and the house looked beautiful. We had some very specific requests to keep the house looking Victorian but with some modern benefits. Our project spanned just over eight months, and remarkably, it remained within budget and on schedule. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Golden Eye boasts an exceptional team, from Mike the owner to Rob, our dedicated project manager, and Matty and Will, our skilled lead carpenters, along with Maria, who efficiently manages office affairs. Matty and Will were on-site daily, tirelessly working to bring our vision to life, while Rob remained responsive to all our queries. In conclusion, we are ecstatic with Golden Eye's services and now reside in our dream home, thanks to their unwavering dedication. We cannot express our gratitude enough.
