Dr. La Croix and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Meg was under her care for five years, and even though Meg is a bit "extra spicy," they always handled her with patience and skill. When Meg needed a double enucleation, Dr. La Croix and her team made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. I'm happy to report that Meg is doing better than ever--and she's still just as "spicy" as ever!
What an incredible group of people. They took care of my baby as if he was their own. They were so wonderful. He's at home post-op resting comfortably in mama's lap, and I'm so grateful for them. Everyone tells horror stories about Frenchies and anesthesia, but they knew how nervous I was and kept me informed throughout the whole process. A special shoutout to Gerard, whose incredibly calming and caring presence kept me level-headed knowing he was with my baby. He's a special person. And, Dr. La Croix is pure genius, a caring, compassionate one at that. The office staff is just as sweet. I'm so thankful I found this practice!
Dr. LaCroix is the most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary doctor that I have ever dealt with. She is one of a kind and very, very special to me as she will be to you and your pet. There are no words great enough that could truly explain how grateful I am to her. My horse Maya has insidious ERU in both eyes. With the doctor's expertise she was able to save the better eye and pretty much put it into remission. The other eye's vision was too far gone by the time I found this amazing opthalmologist, but she was able to treat the eye so that it would no longer be in pain without constant or repeated meds, and Maya was able to keep both eyes. Dr. La Croix cares what is necessary for the well being of the animal. She will love your pet as if it was hers. This is a top notch doctor and the animals are her top priority and in the best of hands. There is zero ego involved with Dr. LaCroix. Do not hesitate to use this doctor, and I'd say run to her right away if you have issues with your animal's sight or eyes issues, no matter what type of pet you have. You will not be disappointed. She's the best of the best! Love her so much and eternally grateful. Don't know what I'd do without her! Maya loves and trusts her as well.
I am Sorry, I forgot to leave my review.
I was recommended to Dr. LaCroix by my veterinarian back in July.
My dog Max had a growth on his eyelid and a smaller one under his eye. Dr. LaCroix did an amazing job removing both of them. Very skillfully removed, and you couldn't even tell.
My boy was nervous and her techs gave him so much love and affection to the point that he was hugging on them.
Dr. LaCroix was very informative in letting us know about the procedure and aftercare. We were very pleased with her care and the attentive staff she provides for her clients. Thank you for taking care of my boy.
Dr La Croix and her team are the absolute best. Our Maddie was a patient already but had to be seen for an unexpected visit. I was a mess. They were amazing. They truly understand that your pet is your baby. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind and caring, even though I was there well after closing. I was pretty impressed when they gave my dog medicine mixed with vanilla ice cream. I was floored when I found out that someone had just gone to Carvel to get it. I knew my dog was in the right hands.
Dr. La Croix is truly the best! My dog was seeing a different ophthalmologist & was diagnosed with an eye tumor & needed surgery. They were able to get me an appointment quickly. I switched to using Dr. La Croix & I can confidently say that it was the best decision I made for my dog. My dog has now had two surgeries here (eye tumor removal/ third eyelid extraction & eye enucleation) & both experiences were phenomenal.
Dr. La Croix is thorough, genuine, intelligent, well-researched, and the very best ophthalmologist. It is easy to see how much she loves her job and all of her patients. My dog had some bumps in the road after his first surgery such as not eating, drinking, etc and Dr. La Croix checked in (call, text, email) at ALL hours for days after his surgery to make sure he was okay and gave advice on things to help. After my dogs second surgery, she was away at a conference & still checked in to make sure my dog is okay. She is truly one of a kind and goes above and beyond. I honestly wish she could see my dog for everything.
Not only is Dr. La Croix the best, but her staff is truly amazing and kind. Danielle, Gerard, Kathleen, Ruby, & the entire team are all the best. They're all so good with my nervous boy. They're all compassionate and just truly good at what they do. It is easy to see how much they care about the babies they take care of each day.
They're well trained in anesthesia & medications, which made me less nervous about my dogs surgery. My dog is my entire life and I don't trust many people with him and I feel very comfortable knowing Dr. La Croix & her amazing team are taking care of my boy. I could go on for days about how much I love Dr. La Croix & her entire team.
