Don't bother with this place told three people I need all the measurements and stuff so I can order frames online. Of course I could not read the paper with info on it because eyes were dilated. Sit down to order glasses what ya know the one measurement I need and told 3 people I needed wasn't on the paper. Never again and too busy take waste more time to go back I'll call my insurance see can't go somewhere else someday when I can get time off work.

Kelly is amazing! She was so fun and helped me pick out a pair of fun glasses! I had the same pair for 3 years and barely wore them because they were so uncomfortable but Kelly helped me pick a super cute and comfortable pair! The doctor was so kind! All the staff was nice and I honestly had fun at my appointment! Highly recommended!

I am 46 years old and been going to Eye Doctor's my entire life. This is by far the best eye doctor office I've been to. The staff seem well educated and very informative. Without any prior Eye Doctor, information from me the doctor was able to quickly figure out my prescription that I need. Like most reviews, don't go by the stars and actually read the reviews. And like usual, you will see that all of their bad reviews are just simple customer incompetence, and ignorance. Not the fault of this office. Great friendly staff that are glad to help you versus those just worried about taking your money.

Great place to go. They are very helpful with any questions that you have. Kelly is great she is always good at giving an opinion on what glasses look the best. Kelly has picked out numerous pairs of glasses for me and they are always a great fit.

Very pleasant experience. They fit me in same-day with a medical emergency, and everyone was warm and kind, from the staff to the doctor. She explained all of my options as well as possible outcomes of my problem. Scheduling my family's regular eye exams here now!

I went to Alleghany eye Hornell office to order safety glasses. I completed my order and left, after paying in full. The next day the optometrist Chris called and said I couldnt get transition lenses. I called my insurance company and they told me my plan doesnt cover transition lenses in safety (poly carbonate) lenses. So I cancelled my order and went to walmart and got everything I originally wanted including transition lenses for the same price.!! Walmart honored my insurance plan, even though they are considered out of my network.

I got my exam and a contact trial there. Paid out right for the contact prescription as my insurance won't pay both. Tried two types of contacts. Decided on one. However when they told me I had to purchase a 90 day pack of daily contacts and it would be $100 I asked for a lesser pack as I would only use contacts for special events and a few weekends. They couldn't find a purchase for 30 days so I left and said I'd think about it. A month ago I found that walmart will sell me a 30 days but when Walmart called them they wouldn't release prescription saying I hadn't finalized it. So I call and receptionist Paige tells me I never finalized which brand as I had tried two. I said well which ones were you going to order? That should have told you. She tells me it's been since July so I would have to see Dr again. I told her had she of ordered the ones this summer I said no to, I'd still be wearing them so why do I need to see Dr again. I said this sounds like a money making deal and she said good bye and hung up on me. Done with their office for sure.

One of the ladies at the desk was kind of rude...asked me why I wasn't wearing my glasses and I how can I see....I said I'm wearing contacts now! She said "oh" I said no I thought I'd go blind...would be a little dangerous wouldn't it? So she said yea with that prescription! Wow so unprofessional! As for the the Dr. She was very nice and the lady that had to fit me for my new frames.
