Absolutely terrible experience. My appointment was for 8:30am. I was told that Dr. Sharma usually rolls in around 9. I didn't leave the office until after 10 am. I was the first scheduled appointment of the day. Several people were taken back before me.I made the appointment to have my broken glasses fixed, but they said I was due for an eye exam as well. I have been there before and gotten glasses there. Once I did make it back for my yearly eye exam, Dr. Sharma welcomed me aboard when I am an already established patient. When he said he was going to put drops in my eyes to dilate them, I refused the drops, just as I have in the past. I had never seen him before, only his associates , and they never had a problem with me refusing to put toxins in my eyes. When I told him I wasn't going to have the drops, he then told me he could no longer see me as a patient there. I also agreed to not come back. He is very charismatic, cocky and arrogant all at the same time., I was ready to walk out because I had another appointment at 11 am that I needed to get to. He stated- Is there a problem? I said yes, I had the first appointment this morning at 8:30 and still haven't been seen. He replied that they are extremely busy on Friday's. Mind you, he saw several patients before me. I would not recommend his practice to anyone. He seems to be all about the money and not patient care. No wonder his ratings are embarrassingly low.

New patient appointment today, everyone was kind and pleasant!! Very little wait time. Office was clean and nice. I saw the reviews about rude employees. I did not have that experience. Maybe they re-staffed?

This place is an absolute mess. Just canceled my wife's and my appointment. This was a second chance to This place a couple years ago as a new customer they never ordered my glasses. Messed up my contact order also shocked they are still in business. Looking at the reviews you need to regroup refocus and decide if you want to remain in business

My father and I have both been going here for a few months and the receptionists are the reason we're finding another eye doctor. The nurse Katie is phenomenal and so are both eye doctors. But the receptionist are snippy, rude and they don't want to help you take care of things that are needed. Definitely do not recommend.

Exceptional care and service! Dr Sharma perfumed my cataract surgeries and later eyelid procedures. He and his staff were extremely attentive and available for any questions I had. The results of all procedures were awesome! Highly recommend - several friends have has similar experiences - don't hesitate to see Dr Vishal Sharma!!!

Everyone is irritably and cranky. If you raise a concern based on personal experience and a long history (25 years) of using eyewear, they'll tell you to go elsewhere. I will seriously consider returning to ANY other Sharma affiliated provider, as this is my second (of two) poor experiences with the name Sharma. However, the Hamburg location (optometry specific) was much friendlier, more accommodating, their inventory was far more pleasing and they cleaned up the mess created by the Irving, NY location.

Eyecare personnel seem to always be too busy or irritated. You feel like you are inconveniencing them. And good luck getting call backs for anything. Called several times for reorders for contacts. Receive the same "we will call you back shortly." Received a call a month later asking if I still needed contacts after giving up and purchasing elsewhere. A MONTH! Received a junk apology and they will do "better." Attempted for another reorder and yet again, no call back. It's been a week so far. I wonder how long it will be this time. Ridiculous **Update** To finish off, I finally got a call back and had some contacts ordered. Received a call 2 days later my contacts were in. Got them and paid for them. Fast forward a week later, I received another call that my contacts were in. Apparently, they decided to order them twice. Not sure what is going on at this place but I will NOT be purchasing from this place again. **Update** It's pretty bad when you can keep adding negatives. Received a call that I had an appointment with them, and confirmed the appointment. Called me 2 hours before saying that this appointment was not meant for me and I did not need to go. What exactly is going on over there?

WORST BUSINESS EVER, rude receptionists, totally unprofessional , can't transfer calls, tell you when you can.come in for pick up like this is the only thing going on in your life, SUPPOSEDLY RECORD CALLS, why would they need to do that, tell you glasses they order are tight when they are not, yell at you, insult you if they can't get you to cooperate to their satisfaction, total disorganization, in office fighting......NEVER AGAIN
