OIC Optical

We had a great experience with this optical shop today. The doctor was very thorough, the front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and we were happy with the selection of eyeglass frames. This was our first exam visit, and we will definitely be back!

The front desk staff was very nice. The technician that did the testing made sure to wipe all the equipment before it was given to me to use. The Doctor was great. He has a very professional and calming manner. He listened to all my concerns without trying to rush me out of the office.

Every time I walk into OIC optical I'm never dissatisfied. Everyone in there is so helpful, lively, and nice. The doctor is very nice and answers all my questions. I feel the doctor and staff really care about my vision and my well being. Anytime I need my glasses cleaned, adjusted, or repaired, they're sure to help. They're also great with providing trial contacts that I can wear, until my order comes in. I love these guys. I'm glad to be a patient at OIC optical where I can be spoiled. Thanks for being great!!

My first visit to OIC Optical was great they took care of me quickly and made me feel comfortable. The Doctor was great and he explained everything about the eye exams to me. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a eye care center.

The office is clean with new equipment. First contact with front desk staff was pleasant. The young lady that conducted the preliminary exam, ie pressure test, was excellent. Dr. Cohen was amazing...HOWEVER, when it was time to pick out glasses, the woman who assisted me was RUDE!.... I wanted to be clear, as to what my options were in obtaining frames that are covered by my insurance and that I like. Her explanation was not clear. To clarify, I asked a few questions, nicely and her response was "I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN ALL OF YOUR SCENARIOS."....I got a copy of my RX and I will never go there again. Thank you lady for your impatience and lack of customer service! You represented OIC poorly.

My family and I have used Peekskill Eyecare for the past several years and have never been disappointed. The eye exams are very thorough, including hi-resolution scans and pressure tests. They have an excellent selection of frames and also have contact lenses and sunglasses. The staff are helpful and friendly and the wait times are minimal. The doctor is an Optometrist, which gives me the peace of mind that my family is getting the best care possible. I highly recommend Peekskill Eyecare.

At the Millbrook office, all the staff and Dr. Brandon were wonderful. The new technician who does the blocked. testing, Sara, was very sweet and put me at ease. I had a lot of anxiety about an eye problem I was having with not seeing well, and I had gotten glasses at another place in Florida. They took their time and were very patient with me, found the issue and then Debbie helped me find a beautiful pair of eyeglasses! I would definitely recommend

I've been going to this place for the last 4 years. I never had a problem and would always ordered and received my daughters glasses on time. This year I guess they increased their prices after the pandemic, which it's understandable however, they were charging me about $700 for my 9 and 10 years old daughter's glasses(no name brand). I was stunned and though it was too much, specially for a kid that would lose or break them. I hesitated, but since my daughters needed their glasses, specially now that they are taking online classes, I decided to pay for it. That was Friday night. I went home spoke to my friends about it and that's where I found out about EYEBUYDIRECT. As long as I had the prescription, I could've order the glasses with the UV protection, progressive Lenses, anti-scratches and the whole deal with less than $100. I went Saturday morning to cancel my order and this is when the situation became a problem. 1st they said they didn't have the results in hand so I had to wait until Monday to get them, 2nd they didn't know if they could cancel my order as they had already placed it the night before, 3rd that they may have a cancellation fee. I said I understand, I will leave you my email so you can send me the results on Monday, once you can get them. No emails. I Called and provided my email address once again on Monday morning and by 4pm still no email, so I decided to just go and pick it up my self. They gave me the results, by 4:30 I was ordering the glasses, I wanted to know the measurements of my daughters face and since they had that information I called them and again giving me the run around, bottom line they said that It was shredded and they couldn't provide me that information. I guess they were upset that I refused to pay almost $700 for kids glasses and decided to just not giving me the information I needed to order them online. This is the last visit of my daughters to this place.
