The best doctor I have ever seen! If all doctors were this thorough we'd have a much better healthcare system!

Dr. Bakir is very friendly and thorough with her exam. She even helped me find a better contact brand so that my eyes wouldn't tire so quickly when wearing contacts. She also responds promptly whenever I've contacted her via phone or email.

Dr. Bakir is very detailed, and it truly feels like she cares about your vision and wants to do everything possible to help you. I enjoy going and having such great care taken, and just a pleasant experience all around.

Dr. Roba is one of the best doctors I have ever met. She was extremely patient with my son when he was transitioning from glasses to contact lenses. She spent well over an hour working with him teaching him how use contact lenses. When he didn't get it, she suggested to come another day to give eyes some rest. We went again next week and she again spent equally generous time with him and finally my son learnt it. She didn't charge any extra amount for the time she spent, I even insisted saying "I'm reasonably well-off and can very well afford to pay". She refused to accept. She is a great doctor and will recommend her to anyone.

I waited 5 days after last emailing Dr. Bakir to write this. I'm glad everyone else had good experiences, but it is a roll of the dice- and if something goes wrong, it appears she does not provide any customer service to fix it. I went for an eye exam, and told Dr. Bakir afterwards that I would not be purchasing my progressive glasses there, that I tended to use Zenni because of being on a strict budget. She didn't seem too pleased, but gave me my prescription. Later as I went to order on Zenni, I noticed that she put for my ADD/reading level a level higher than what I use daily. I paused but thought well, she is the trained licensed professional, so went ahead and put the numbers she had written in on my order. I got my order from Zenni and the glasses were completely unusable due to her mistake. I contacted her twice via email (she has always been lightning fast responsive previously) and she did not ever bother to respond. So I am not only out of $120 for an incorrect eye exam, I am also out the $ for the progressives I cannot use- and did not even get the consideration of her response to help me resolve her mistake so I could have a pair of usable updated glasses. So yeah, terrible, terrible experience.

Great experience with Dr. B! I had a foreign object in my eye. Before calling Meridian, I went to an urgent care and they said - yes you have an object in your eye, but we can't remove it. I called Dr. B and she carefully and successfully removed it. Great bedside manner - very thorough, very caring and very gentle. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Meridian Eye Care.

Doctor did 4 kids in one visit. She gave them a thorough eye exam and not just "point at a picture." Very pleased with the experience and friendliness.

Great customer service and friendly eye doctor. Sucks she doesn't sell lenses.
