Mean and Dumb (Laura). Not sure what the issue is but my Mom is fully insured with Vision with great Anthem Vision insurance she has had for 40 yrs. Not for glasses but a routine yearly checkup. Explained that it is not Medicare. She kept saying it is Medicare. Not even looking it up. I was on the Anthem website trying to explain it is not Medicare (Dr Adams) name was the first that came up on the list. Never used Medicare. She was short with me and her condescending rude tone and discriminating language assuming that they could not take her on as a patient is confusing. I'm looking at her Anthem ID card and website it says Vision. Always has. The health care we get in Dare has been exceptional and everyone has been more than kind and we are so grateful and blessed. But, this is by far the meanest I have experienced with anything. Please pray for this person.

While vacationing in OBX, the ocean took my glasses. Unfortunately I had an expired prescription and couldn't easily get a pair of replacement glasses. In short notice, Dr. Adams was able to work me into his schedule and perform a thorough exam. In addition to finding some other vision related items to address when I return from vacation, I was able to get a replacement pair of glasses from a local Optician in just over an hour! Dare Vision and Dr. Adams staff were lifesavers!

Dr Adams is the absolute best and has given me the most accurate exam and prescriptions for my glasses, comparing to other local eyeglass centers.

First time patient with Dr. Adams and his staff and I haven't even left the parking lot yet because I wanted to write this review!!! That is how wonderful my visit went. So friendly and personable. Affordable pricing (for someone without insurance-that's a big deal)!! This will be my first choice for eye care from now on!!

This place was excellent. Lost my glasses on the beach, prescription was expired and they got me taken care of. Fit me in between other appointments in their busy schedule. Can't say enough great things. Very professional and contacts have never felt this good in my eyes.

Do not go any place else if you need an examine or glasses. The entire experience was fast and friendly. Very professional exam and service. Glad we switched from "A" different "eye care".

Got me in and out quickly. He was very personable and was quick to chastise me about over wearing my contacts. Definitely recommend Dare Vision
