I had a really stressful experience and broke my glasses today. I went in and everyone was so helpful but especially Kim. She gave me different options on how we could fix them and she knew I was in a rush to go to work and accommodated me so nicely. She really made my day and turned such a stressful bad day into a great one. I highly recommend this place and all of their employees. Thank you so much Kim!!!

We were blown away by the doctor, best eye exam experience ever. She was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in us and our eye health. The people at the desk and the frames area were wonderful as well, taking care of every need and concern. While still not cheap, prices were better than in Winston-Salem.

I was worried about making an appointment here based on the past review but made it anyways after being referred by a friend. I am so glad I did. The office is beautiful, clean and modern. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and timely in treating me. Dr. Liverley was so sweet, professional and thorough. My husband accidentally gave me incorrect insurance information so the office had to process my claim two separate times and never once was I made to feel like it was an inconvenience to the staff. I was able to choose frames from a large selection of glasses that came in various prices for different budgets and the sweet assistant who helps with selection was kind enough to calculate the cost difference of various frames without me even asking. I will definitely be returning again and again with all my family members and would not hesitate to give this office an A+.

I always come away from my appointments very pleased with my experienced and knowledgeable about my current vision health. I recently had an infection in one eye that was quite painful. Dr Lyerly resolved it quickly with a fast acting medication. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and personable.

Dr. Lyerly and her staff were amazing! She was very attentive to my needs, and very thorough during my exam. Her staff was a pleasure to deal with also, and overall this was a great experience. I highly recommend the Carolina Center for Eye Care for quality eye care!

Customer service was unprofessional and indifferent. It's been a massive hassle to get much needed glass lenses. I've scheduled an appointment and gone to the office twice, calling out of work, for them to tell me they had the wrong size of lens. Staff never took ownership of the situation, empathized, or clearly explained how the wrong lenses could be ordered multiple times. If you'd like contact lenses, depending on insurance (I have VSP), you'll pay $160 for a consultation that's no more helpful than a YouTube video and a week's worth of samples. Staff never followed up or left voicemail to order additional contact lenses as they stated they originally would. It's a shame because a select few staff members are welcoming but the rest are making the experience noticeably depressing. I expect more service from a local boutique eye care business.

Always great service, super friendly and fast. they replace some lenses I damaged within a week and swapped out the lenses while I waited. Great place with great people. Note: I also liked how the Doc actually listened to me about my vision and discussed in depth how I wanted to see, very cool.

I've had glasses since I was 8. I really like this office! I've seen Dr. Tarr for a couple years now and really appreciate that he listens and talks with you. He's very personable and actually consults you rather than just talking at you. A couple of the assistants are not quite so personable- just kinda short (maybe they were having a bad day? ), but I'm more concerned with who writes the prescription.
