Morganton Eye Physicians PA - Rutherford College Eye Clinic (Permanently Closed)

This office is very unprofessional! They left me waiting for an hour just to tell me they could not see me. I coughed one time through my mask, I have severe allergies. There was a chemical smell in the back where you have your eye exam, so it made my allergies worst. After 20 minutes of waiting I had a staff from the front tell me I had to leave. She thought I had COVID which I didn't. She is always rude to all patients every time I have visited this location. She doesn't know how to approach people professionally. How about taking a temperature, a COVID test itself if you want to assume someone has Covid! At first she claimed the doctor made the decision. Then she said he didn't know that she told me to leave. So she lied either way. I don't have COVID. This was my second appointment because the doctor didn't trust his own work the first time. Told me to come back to recheck my eyes before he would give me a prescription and glasses. She wasn't going to print my prescription until I asked to speak to the doctor. He told her give the prescription to me. She said you don't have a prescription! I did have one. Finally, She handed me one. Beforehand, she had left me waiting in my car for 30 minutes when I finally came in she said " Oh I forgot about you!" How very impolite! The same woman at the desk didn't even know what was going on! She needs to be fired at least reprimanded for being unethical! My whole point is don't waste people's time (an hour of my time)and be polite when they come to your office. They had a choice to choose you for services so make their experience worthwhile! I will not go there anymore I will go to the one in Morganton they are a lot better! Please be kinder to the next patient! Thank You

Had an eye exam and then got my contacts. Tried them for a week but felt they were to strong. Went in for a recheck and they would not change the prescription. Had to go to another eye doctor to get it straightened out. Ended up having to pay for the wrong contacts and another eye exam

Dr. McGee is the best! Always great with my kids! However, this office is always running behind on appts and I think they must overbook alot!
