Seven Lakes Eye Care

Dr.Kavanaugh is the man. I got a small piece of metal in my eye that would not come out with water or eye drops. I called Seven Lakes Eye Care and they were able to fit me right in. Dr.Kavanaugh was able to get the metal out extremely fast and much more affordable than the ER. They were also able to fit me right in a few months ago when i lost my only pair of glasses in a kayak mishap. The ladies upfront are always pleasant as well

I've only been going to this office for about 3 years, but I have nothing but good things to say about them. They have managed to see me at least twice at the last minute (totally my fault). I have a tendency to forget about my contacts until I'm totally out of them, which is never a good situation. The ladies in the office are so kind and helpful and Dr. Kavanaugh is smart and quick as well. I've taken my kids to a couple of my appointments as well and they have been thoroughly entertained by the little kids toys in the office (which is such a relief).

I have been a patient of Seven Lakes Eye Care for many,many years ! The words exceptional and excellent doesn't even begin to cover Dr Kavanaugh and his teams knowledge and professionalism! I have never known Dr Kavanaugh to come into the exam room without a big smile on his face. It's always amazing to me how knowledgeable he is, always takes the time to go over your scans with you and shows and tells you what your looking at. Penny, Dr Kavanaugh's wife is just as amazing in her own right! She has always helped me to pick out my frames and shows me the ones most suited with one or two picks . I feel like part of their family when I go in and it's always a fun appointment. After many years of visiting budget optometrists and purchasing cheap glasses, the value of doing business with Seven Lakes Eye Care is undeniable. The detailed attention and care Dr. Kavanaugh provided made a tremendous difference in my prescription and eye health. He is exceptionally wise. You will never find a more experienced eye Dr. In North Carolina then Dr Barry kavnaugh. And his wife is the most amazing, caring and sincere women you'd ever meet. I've been coming here since 2011. And if it wasn't for him. The Drs wouldn't have found my problem dealing with mild traumatic Brain injury TBI. The care and experience. Helped other Doctors know what was going on. Dr. is very nice and does a good job. Unfortunately prescription was not spot on the first time. I have been getting my eyes examined for 41 years now, and understand this happens occasionally. I was informed after the correction that I was being charged $50 for the visit. When I asked the lady at the front desk about the charge, she informed me that I was being charged because I did not return within 30 days. "Your eyes must have changed" is what she told me...

Best eyecare place in the area... Super service, friendly, and knowledgeable. Barry Kavanaugh is amazing! Don't go anywhere else!
