Wendell Eye Care

This practice is amazing, simply put! The ladies at the front desk are so pleasant, knowledgeable & patient. I've been here 4 weeks straight due to myself & 3 family members being seen (& subsequently picking up contacts & glasses). Each time, I was welcomed like it was the initial visit! I now feel like family. The physicians were personable, friendly & welcomed any questions we had related to our eye care. The exams were thorough, but also quick & I left with a better understanding of how to care for our eyes. Sidenote: I ultimately chose this location because our last eye doc was extremely rude at a previous visit (TEI-Knightdale). Because I purchased glasses online instead of from the provider directly (I used the prescription provided by his practice). I was insulted for doing so & antagonized about whether or not I cared for my children!! I knew Wendell Eye Care was different when I brought those same glasses to this practice to have the lens updated & the staff stated, "these frames are beautiful." A totally different reaction from what I had received prior! Since this is an absolute necessity for my family, I look forward to building a lasting relationship with the individuals here.

Everyone at this office is incredibly helpful and friendly. Whether it's the patient care coordinators at the front desk, the optical specialists, techs, or Dr. Vick - the whole team has always made sure every appointment for me, my wife, and our two boys, has been a great experience. From routine exams, to dealing with other eye related issues, they are very thorough and take the time to explain everything along the way. We would highly recommend them.

I'm a new patient and was having an issue and was able to be seen in one day! Every staff member I interacted with was lovely, including Dr. Lutz. I was in and out within 45 minutes. It was a fantastic experience AND, the office is gorgeous :)

My family and I had our first appointments yesterday and we were impressed. The staff is friendly. The Doctor is friendly and knowledgeable. The optician who helped us pick out our new glasses, Naomi, was wonderful. She really cared and took her time with us and gave us real answers to our questions along the way. We are very pleased! Dr. Vick and Kelly are the best! I have ocular Myasthenia gravis which is a challenge when it comes to my sight. Dr. Vick is always smiling and upbeat and the ONLY optometrist who has been able to find the right prescription for my vision than all of the "eye" docs I've seen in the last 3 years. Kelly knows her stuff too! She always answered my questions, helped me choose, and adjust my glasses with a quick turnaround time, allowing me to see better, which is a challenge due to my disease. They have shown me more compassion and caring than you can imagine. In fact, the entire staff are friendly, helpful, and proactive. Thank you for everything and being there for me! Kelly Boutwell

The entire process from setting up my appointment to the appointment itself was a great experience. I saw Dr. Vick for my yearly check up and she was absolutely fantastic. She was kind, knowledgeable, and actually listened to what I had to say. I also appreciated that different products weren't pushed at me as they had been at another eye care facility I'd been to. The women at front desk were kind and helpful as was the technician who helped me pick my new frames. There is a reason this business has 5 stars with so many reviews and I will absolutely be recommending them to my family and friends!

My first visit was awesome! Dr Lutz was so thorough and explained things so well. The entire staff was so warming and friendly. Tiffany did a great job with helping me to select my glasses. If you need an Optometrist I highly recommend Wendell Eye Center.

My 10 year old daughter had her first eye exam with Wendell eye care. She was a little nervous to go but came home so excited to tell our family how cool it was and how nice everyone was. After picking up her new glasses she was so excited to show all of her friends.
