Brightwood Eye Center

I recently had an appointment with Dr.B at Brightwood eye center . I am so glad I chose this office for my eye care needs. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. However I only noticed it I didn't even have to wait. The examination with Dr. B was fantastic. They were incredibly patient, thorough, knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me that there were new prescriptions on the market for severe dry eye. He answered my questions about my eye health, walk me through the dilation proces. I felt well-informed and confident in their care. The opticians who helped me with my glasses were also amazing. Girl I can't remember your name but I remember your face. She was so helpful in guiding me to the perfect pair of frames. They were great at helping me find a style that fit my face, explaining the different lens options. She had all my insurance information and helped me select a second pair of prescription sunglasses. Overall, my experience was excellent, smooth,and positive I highly recommend Dr. B and Brightwood eye Center staff.

After having been disappointed at my last eye appointment with Lens Crafters I found Brightwood Eye Center in my insurance network. I thought I would give them a try because they were close to me and had great reviews for the most part. My appointment was yesterday and they did not disappoint me at all! Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr Bulakowski was awesome. He took his time with me. His nurse/assistant was great also she understood that I have a problem getting eye drops in and she did it with ease. The young lady that checked me in was also the one who fitted me with glasses. She was very friendly and didn't rush me like the other places I have been too. I highly recommend the office!

First time I had been to the eye doctor in probably 15 years, the staff was extremely professional and helpful. Everything was communicated very well and they were able to diagnose the issue I was having and help provide me with my first pair of glasses. From my experience- highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an eye doctor.

Went to this doctor because our vision insurance at work changed and I thought it would be nice to have something local. They were impatient with my daughter, didn't really listen to me when I was talking to them about her, and we were bounced to like 4 different people. They billed insurance wrong to the tune of about $150 for just my husband so we are getting a nice refund. The insurance company is still doing the math on how much my daughter and I were over charged. Will be going back to my old doctor 30 minutes away. The drive is inconvenient but it'll be worth it to have a doctor that has better bedside manner.

My real name is Crystal. I went to Dr. B off a hope and dream. I was referred by a good friend after many let downs. This man literally changed my life. A bigger eye clinic failed to diagnose me twice in one year. Gave me a prescription for glasses that I told them I still couldn't see out of. They referred me to a neuro-opthamologist, 2 MRIs later, still no diagnosis. I am losing vision in my right eye. Very scary. I went to Brightwood hoping someone would actually listen and care. Well, they did. Not only did Dr. B diagnose me with Keratoconus, I got glasses for the first time I can actually see out of. I cried when I put them on. His staff is amazing as well. You just feel so well taken care of. Please go see them.

I wasted time going up there because I was told that they were not accepting new patients. I went to America's best on Huffman Mill Rd. in Burlington and got a great deal. If you don't want more customers, why do you have a website that advertises for new patients?

Their customer service is the best I've seen. Everybody was wonderful. The doc did well in explaining/breaking down my situation so that I fully understood. Casey was awesome also. She was exceptional in helping me to select the right frame. Wonderful establishment. Forget everywhere else. This is the place to go.

The doctor completed a thorough exam and clearly explained all my options. The staff helped me feel confident about my first pair of glasses!
