The visit was for my annual check up.Front end staff were very professional and nice to interact with. My wait qas not very long and before I knew it I was in seeing the optometrist. Overall a very excellent visit. I have and continue to recommend this clinic as the place to go.

Yesterday my husband had his yearly eye appt with Dr. Ryan Smith who has always been incredibly thorough and personable. This day I got an alert on my phone at home, that my husband's blood sugar had dropped too low_a situation I knew had to be addressed immediately since he is a serious diabetic. I quickly relayed the information on the phone to the office manager who went into action. She quickly provided a sugared soda for my husband to drink, while Dr. Smith paused the appt until my husband's blood sugar stabilized; then Dr. Smith picked up right where he had left off! (I can imagine this definitely interrupted his schedule with his other patients.) Shoutout to the office manager as well as Dr. Smith! Both so kind.

My recent experience with FYidoctors has been profoundly disappointing, and it's clear that the quality of service has sharply declined since the practice was taken over. Over two years ago, I realized I had stopped receiving the routine reminders to book my next appointment, something that had always been handled seamlessly in the past. When I finally attended the appointment I had booked myself, I specifically asked to be reminded for the next one. Yet this December, I once again discovered that no reminder had been sent, and by the time I tried to schedule, there were no appointments left for 2025. I was pushed into the next fiscal year solely because the clinic failed to contact me. At my appointment a few days ago, I asked again why I was not receiving reminder calls. Only then did I learn that FYidoctors no longer places calls at all and relies solely on email--an email address, I might add, that they had incorrectly transcribed. So for two years, the lack of reminders was entirely due to their error, and there was no proactive attempt to verify or correct it. To be clear: the optometrist and the staff who actually assessed my eyes were excellent. This review is in no way a reflection of their professionalism or care. The issue is everything that happens outside the exam room. When it came time to settle my bill, I assumed (reasonably) that my routine two-year check-up would be fully covered, as it always has been. Instead, I was blindsided by a $99 charge. My insurance allows $75 for a vision exam--meaning FYidoctors now charges more than 100% over the allotted amount for a service that has become markedly sub-optimal. To summarize: No reminders due to their internal errors No attempt to verify incorrect contact information A complete departure from the previous standard of patient communication Fee increases out of step with insurance allowances and service quality This review is about FYidoctors' systems, policies, and customer service, not the clinicians, who were the only redeeming part of the experience. I hope FYidoctors seriously reassesses how it manages patient communication and billing. As it stands, the administrative side of this practice has become inefficient, impersonal, and unnecessarily costly for patients.

Absolutely love FYI Doctors in Windsor. We've never had a bad experience... all the staff are wonderful! My son was incredibly nervous during his first eye exam, but Dr Knox is the sweetest. She patiently waited for him to relax each time he got anxious and answered all his questions.

this was a fantastic experience! very friendly and professional. we had dr ryan and couldn't say enough good things about him. I cant remember the lady's name that fitted my daughter for her glasses but she was so helpful and nice. they did everything they could do to get us in to glasses we could afford. Definitely going back again!

Very pleased with my experience at Windsor vision centre. It was my first time visiting and everyone was very professional, thorough and very kind. Dr. Knox took the time to explain the changes in my eyes and made sure all my questions were answered. Kendra helped me with my eyewear purchase, and she was also very helpful in that process. I didn't feel pressure with sales pitches or upselling, just help getting me what I needed at the best price. 5stars- 2 thumbs up.

My partner had a great experience here when he was in need of new glasses. Everyone was very kind and Wanda was super helpful and knowledgeable. Made the experience quick and easy. He's been back for some small adjustments and Wanda was great. Would highly recommend!

I was well looked after from reception, to my eye test and the consultation with my eye doctor. I have been going to this office for a few years. I have always very happy with the service.
