This is the best eye care center in all of Westchester. Dr. D is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and patient. Chris, who's at the front desk is very attentive, professional, and nice. Juan, the frame and lens Wizard, is incredibly helpful, patient, hilarious, and just a really kind human being. You can't go wrong here!
Dr is good. But technician doesn't get the glasses done on time. He wants us to leave the glasses overnight and my kid can't see without them. The front staff is not clear with instructions as to if the glasses are ready or not.
Givin' me the best vibes around! Now I can see. Life...... is........ BEAUTIFUL. Thank you Dr. D
The front desk was overwhelmed with calls. In between, she took the time to inform me that I was checked in and would be seen. The person who helped with the glasses selection explained the cost, so when the bill came, I was not surprised. It was exactly as explained.
I've been going here for years; always an easy process from start to finish. Everyone is always so kind.
I love Dr. D. She's always warm and welcoming.
Getting my eyes checked annually at Bright Eyes Optometry is great.
However, the problem lies with the desk staff.
My eye exam was on October 29th, 2024, for glasses and contact lens fitting.
Dr. D recommended that I try two different types of contact lenses, and I was told I would receive a call when they were ready for pick-up.
The call never came.
A month later, I called and was promised a callback, but that never happened either.
I called again in December, and the same thing occurred.
In January, I left a message, but no one called me back.
Finally, on January 14th, 2025, I received a call informing me that my contacts were ready for pick-up.
I don't understand why it took almost three months to pick up trial pairs.
I'm not sure if I will return for this year's annual exam.
The eye exam was great and the doctor was very patient with me. It all changed when it came time to get my glass frames. The assistant showed me exactly Three frames, none of which would have looked good on me and then started hustling me to pay more money than my Senior Medicaid coverage would pay. I did spend $70 but I was very disappointed when I got the glasses as they were slightly too big. I would never have known it was a hustle if I hadn't seen him do it to three other people before me. I haven't been back since and this was about 3 years ago.
It was such a quick & easy process of making an appointment over the phone a few days prior to my first visit. Today, I took my vision test & proceeded to select my glasses from the wonderful array of choices. I was surprised at how many different styles of frames & colors they have. Every employee that I interacted with were kind & laid back, from the front desk receptionist, to the eye doctor, to the gentleman who helped me select/size my glasses. The office gives me a feeling of calmness & makes it exciting to look forward to getting my glasses. It was such an amazing experience at Bright Eyes Optometry, I'm disappointed that I haven't been here any sooner!
