I am surprised at all the 5 star ratings. I agree Dr. Moylan is friendly to be sure. I am confused by 2 things. One , before going there I never knew there was such a thing as a Retina Specialist and Dr. Moylan said I should see one and gave me the name of one. I looked up the doctor and he got more 1 star ratings than I ever saw from any doctor. I called back a few months later and questioned the reference and asked if Dr. Moylan truly thought the reference was a good one and shockingly they denied Dr. Moylan ever recommended a retina specialist and denied recommending anyone. This is just not true. I did not suddenly wake up one day and suddenly knew of a profession I did not know existed before going to that office and I certainly did not make up the name of a doctor. I can't explain their denial except that I did mention the referenced doctor got awful reviews and maybe they were embarrassed to have recommended a doctor with such awful reviews. . Then I got a bill from them when I told them in advance I had Medicare and Medicaid. This is the shocking part. I called and left a message, they have varied hours, and told them anything that Medicare did not cover , Medicaid would. This part is truly unbelievable. Jo Anne who called me back said they do not participate in Medicaid, and get this, she said there were hundreds of Medicaid and she would not even know where to send the bill. I said it is a govt. program and there are Not hundreds at all there is only one Medicaid. She denied even knowing what Medicaid was. Really? How could you be alive in America and not have any clue that Medicaid is a major govt. program. Again Dr. Moylan was great but how can I justify the denial of knowing what Medicaid was and saying there were hundreds and then also denying suggesting I see a Retina specialist and denying suggesting a Doctor. Very, very strange to be sure and I am just putting this down for others to see as I consider both very strange and disturbing behavior for professionals.

Always a terrific experience. Dr. Moylan is friendly and highly professional.The staff are also great. The optician did a great job helping my wife and I to pick wonderful frames for our glasses.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moylan at North Shore Advanced Eye Care for many years. I have never had a bad experience at this establishment. Dr. Moylan is personable, patient and thorough. He explains everything to you making sure you understand what might be going on with your eyes. And the staff is the same. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for eye care.

I was tremendously pleased with every aspect of this office. From the front office , where I had no wait at all, they took me right in, tothe treatments it was all excellent care. Everyone took such effort in explaining everything which meant so much to me. A very impressive experience

There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the office. All of the women l dealt with were very pleasant and a few of them went out of their way to be helpful. Rachel saw me looking at frames and, when l explained exactly what l was looking for, she brought over several frames for me to try. Then she left me so l could try them on without any pressure. As a result, l found the perfect frame. I really like Dr. Moylan. He is an excellent doctor who is bright, thorough, and approachable. He takes the time to explain any issues or questions l have. I feel very confident when l go to that office that my eyes will get the greatest care.

Excellent care from the moment you step into the office until you leave! Dr Moylin fosters confidence and reassurance with his professionalism, competence and warmth. The staff is excellent too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moylan's for over 30 years. He's a great doctor with a terrific "bedside manner". The staff has always been friendly and helpful. What else can I say?

Everyone I have met in this practice is wonderful. They are extremely patient and respectful. Dr Moylan takes time to explain everything. Hal helped me pick new glasses and he too was patient, understanding and extremely helpful. My 99yr old mom had an appt. as well and she too was treated with the utmost of care and understanding. I highly recommend this practice. It's not an assembly line. It's very personal
