I've been a loyal customer of OPTI-VISION 4 U, for several years, purchasing three pairs of glasses and lenses totaling close to $2,000. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was so unacceptable that I won't be returning.
I came back to return a pair of glasses that were poorly fitted and had a no-line bifocal that wasn't aligned correctly. Despite paying $490 for this pair alone, the owner, Hani, refused to offer any refund or meaningful solution. After years of giving them my business, I was shocked at how dismissive and unprofessional he was.
To make matters worse, the receipts provided were handwritten and did not appear to be legitimate or standard for an optical business. The situation escalated to the point where the police had to be called due to the owner's behavior and refusal to resolve the issue properly.
Based on this experience, I can't recommend this place to anyone. The lack of customer service, questionable business practices, and unwillingness to stand behind their products make this a business I can no longer trust.
The head men is very nice and very helpful. kind of feel sad for him he will lose out on customers due to poor customer service by one of his workers The lady with the dark hair today was my first time ever having an interaction with her seem very nice but the other lady with the blonde hair always nasty and rude. She has very poor customer service today I was turned down due to I came in July so they say and acted out never did that. I knew it was a lie If I came in July and knew I wasn't allowed to return. Why would I come? she lied in the notes all because when children's services had my kids temporarily I made appointments for there grandmother to bring them. The grandmother got there. It was a situation and my kids were not able to be seen. The grandmother brought them again. I want to say it was something with the insurance however I had already had the insurance taken care of so I called in and I asked her we was trying to make appointment. We missed an appointment due to them not calling she got smart and I told her that it's not my fault. I don't work there at one point in time. The doctor went on vacation or they didn't have a doctor. It was something of the nature however it still had nothing to do with me. I was making the appointments like children's service told me and I explained everything to her. This is a nice place. Sometimes you just lose good people due to rudeness and for their rule to be zero tolerance the worker was very nasty.
It's very difficult to schedule an appointment. The lady who schedules acts as if she doesn't want to get the appointment scheduled. I tell her the the information on my insurance card and it's still not enough. She wouldn't schedule the appointment. I'm very disappointed because I have been a patient for over 15 years. After reading all the reviews I was a little skeptical but it was so close to my job , and I needed glasses asap I saw the older gentlemen he was with another customer it was a young man behind the counter he was Professional and then a young lady came out to help me pick out glasses because the one I picked was to wide for my face she was Very courteous and professional Im definitely going back to order a second pair P.S I heard the two other women that everyone was talking about No longer works there
I had a wonderful visit today. I had forgot about them, but I remember where they were. I shall never forget again.
Horrible service, the head man of the Opti-Vision 4U. To me, he always has been very polite, courteous, understanding, and professional...
But the two ladies he has working for him are very nasty, rude, loud, unprofessional, smart mouth, and certainly not kind. Yesterday, the (woman) employee with blond hair was yelling at me in store because THEY had lost my prescription. Accused me of never giving it to them... When I told them I would not be spoken to in that manner, she still didn't stop. So I left the eye glass place and called back to speak with a manager. She said he's not available, what s the problem? As I began to speak, the lady with the dark hair her nastiness continued as well.
She slammed the phone down in my ear. Today, I returned with the prescription. She refused to service me and said, "We don't want your money, your prescriptions or your kind... I walked out in peace and promised my soul, I WOULD NEVER RETURN. I called my insurance company, and they gave me 8 other eye glasses provider the net work.. To everyone out there, don't go to "Opti-Vision 4U" on Northfield rd & Libby. Bedford Heights....
The staff seems nice, but they have horrible customer service. I have been turned away three times because they will not call the vision insurance provider as the insurance company suggested, to confirm my coverage. The insurance company suggests they call the vision insurance provider, which they wont do, stating they are too busy, and won't give me the phone number.
They state they called my insurance several times then asked me to do so. That is not true, they never told me they called. I was told twice by Jordan and Hani that they were too busy to call. If they did call, they did not inform me.
And Jordan did give me the phone numbers on the back of my card. They were for my health insurance. I called the insurance company several times and already had those numbers. When I asked for the number for March vision, she told me I could not call that number for providers only. My health insurance company said March vision is who needed to be contacted so she did not provide me with the information necessary.
I was turned away because after 3 visits, I left with them telling me I needed to continue to reach out to my insurance company. They would not fit me while I was there so that once the insurance issue was corrected, they could submit the order without me having to come in AGAIN. Leaving 3 visits with no service is the definition of being turned away.
This place is awesome! Just stopped in from out of town (husband's eyeglasses broke) Marcela Vizmuller O.D. Came out and fixed them quickly. Super nice guy $10. We tried to give him more. Wouldn't take it!
