Visionary Optometry, Noelle Gehm, OD

I have been going to Dr Gehm, for probably 9-10 years, after moving to the area. I think she is easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable, and professional. I think the Staff are friendly, and we love Sally for always helping with the picking correct frames.

I am not satisfied with my R lens! I've asked to speak w Dr Gehm only to get a call back that she's done all she can do. WHAT? JENNIFER is the only one NOT rude. My first experience in 2023 was great but not no longer!

Don't waste your time calling they're not accepting new patients... not sure why they continue advertising? Also, I would've been a cash paying patient and they didn't seem too willing or excited to try to give me what the cost would be. I've been a healthcare provider myself for over 40 years and they have the right to run their business the way they want but... Seems like not too friendly to anybody that's not already established with them. Just my initial take... might be great people?? But I was not impressed with my first and only phone call conversation

I absolutely love Dr. Gehm and her employees. Except one employee who is so hateful. Sally just caused me to walk out without even getting my glasses ordered because her personality and professionalism is awful. Can not even ask a question without being administered. UPDATES Today I received a Certified Letter telling me that I was no longer a patient and they would be happy to release my records once release forms were signed. I was accused of upsetting who,,, well imagine that, Sally! I don't know how, because I left without ordering glasses do to her attitude and disrespect. Even said I upset a patient. Funny, I was the only one in there. Now, this day was 11/16/23 and today's letter was written 10/3/24. I see how concerned they were and upset now. It only took 11 months to address me. I have been there 3 times in the last year. No problems at all. I have received reminders to schedule my annual appointment. I guess things aren't handled quickly when someone inappropriately speaks. My suggestion is maybe these reviews need to be ready. It's not just one person complaining about the same person. I had no intention in coming back anyway.

I've been seeing Dr. Gehm since she was practing on church St. With Dr. Pflaumer; It's been since 2007-2008ish that I've been seeing her. I love her. She is amazing! She is very patient , sweet and personable. She KNOWS what she is doing and she is good at it. She always listens to me and works well with me. My whole family goes here. I know some people have had qualms with some staff there but to be honest that wouldn't deter me. You're missing out if you don't go here. I also had Dr Thurman yesterday and I was really anxious because I like the same doctor but she is also extremely nice, patient, very knowledgeable, really helpful and friendly. Dr. Thurman has also seen the rest of my family and they are comfortable with her and like her too!! I like that I can come here and feel completely comfortable, talk and laugh and I feel like I'm being listened to and heard- that is extremely IMPORTANT for people who deal with chronic conditions as we have a lot of appointments and do not always like going to them as they be can be draining, overwhelming and you just overall dread going because there are so many, but I like going here!! It's a great place. Don't listen to bad reviews until you try yourself.

I broke my glasses. (Necessary for me to work) Called my regular eye doctor - after a long hold time was told they would call me back. After waiting several hours on a return call. I decided to call Visionary Optometry - they had my exact frames in stock. Jenny told me to come right over. She took the lens out of the broken pair popped them right into the new frames. I was back to work before the other office even returned my call. Thank you Jenny & Visionary Optometry!! I will be back!

Dr. Gehm is doing herself no favors by keeping "Sally" the optician around. I have never been spoken to in a more rude way than by this individual who is supposed to be forward facing to the customers and patients. I just wish I would have read the reviews before ordering glasses from here (several similar complaints). Do yourself a favor... Dr. Gehm may be great, but do not spend $ here on glasses. The optician is rude, unprofessional and downright disrespectful. Take your prescription and run!

This place is about a JOKE. Dr. Gehm is a great dr though, sucks the way she runs her practice. I apparently had "3 no call no shows" but when I asked for dates & times she could only tell me the date for one, then proceeds to tell me i'm on a walk in only policy because of it. (Meaning I have to call every single day to double check if there's a cancellation ) I called 2 1/2 months ago and scheduled an appt with the front desk and just for them to tell me I don't have an appointment at all. That "they don't know why I was scheduled at all" Poorly ran practice and the office people suck and are extremely rude!
