Fishbaugh Family Eyecare - St. Henry

Had my eyes examined by Dr Fishbaugh himself at the St. Henry office and felt rushed during my exam. And then a week later, I received my glasses and my prescription is definitely off. Sucks.... I've never had this problem when the lady optometrist used to work there.

This office is horrible and all the staff are rude. HANDS DOWN the worst office I have ever been to in my life. They are not flexible with scheduling and they do not try to accommodate patients.They lied to my insurance and tried to get my insurance to pay for a contact class that my daughter never even took. When trying to speak to the office manage, Alexis, she was completely unprofessional and rude. Save your time and money and go to a friendly eye doctor's office-one that actually cares about you and your family and not just about making money.

Usually I love this office: We've been patients & customers for years. The staff has been great, communication was great. However, recently that has all changed. Over the past few weeks I have tried calling them, and they don't answer (even during business hours, which ok maybe every single person is busy (even through they have a receptionist at the front desk at all times and usually 1 or 2 other girls) sitting there as well; so I leave a voicemail; and never get return calls. On the answering machine it states you can make appointments as well as send questions online at their web address - I've done that as well, 3 times for different things. Never a response. And then today: they sent me a confirmation text at 10:00am for a reminder of my appointment at 10:30 and my sons at 11. I pushed Y. They said ok great we'll see you soon through text. We get there and it's locked and dead bolted and lights are off even though they don't close until 12 on Saturdays. So after awhile of waiting because I was thinking ... oh maybe they are in there and we're the first appointment (there is 2 cars in the parking lot) but no. So I tried calling at 10:34 while standing outside of the office and of course goes to voicemail. I'm highly annoyed! I do not live in St. Henry. So this was a waste of my gas and time when we had appointments & AGAIN, received appointments reminders and confirmations this morning! The terrible communication or complete lack there of and now this is completely ridiculous. And if someone had an emergency then a call from one of the other office staff that didn't would have been fantastic! If there even was an emergency but I'm guessing not considering the communication has been terrible and quite frankly unacceptable & again, 2 other cars at there office parked. I never leave bad reviews (even if I did not get the best service somewhere because you know maybe they're having a bad day or something happened. And I get that because I'm human and very understanding) but this is necessary considering they apparently don't check voicemail or email or the inbox on their website even though they say it's available. And apparently can't stay open office hours for scheduled appointments. So maybe they'll see this and do something about it. There is no excuse for this the last several weeks. Oh and I left a voicemail AGAIN. On your voicemail while waiting outside for my SCHEDULED appointment today.

They are always so nice and try to work around my schedule. Have never had a bad experience before.

My daughter came down with conjunctivitis yesterday and noticed it when I picked her up. So I decided to call quick to get an appointment scheduled for the next day if possible. They actually told me to come in quick, even tho they were going to be closing soon , and I'm so grateful and appreciative for it. I have been going here for years and love it! I have never had problems with getting in and they have great customer service. Definitely would recommend to anyone! I think they have a great team and I just wanted to thank them!

Timely appointment and took the time to discuss options for my eye care

I have been coming to this eyecare facility for several years. Recently I had an emergent eye issue that was incredibly stressful, they were able to work me in the same day with no question. The staff and providers are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I have never had a more comprehensive eye exam, and would not hesitate to recommend their office for any and all eyecare needs.

I just started going to Fishbaugh's a year ago and have been treated very well. I have been in and out of many eye doctor's offices and have seen many eye care providers during my life due to my high prescription. However, I see myself continuing to stay and get treated at Fishbaugh's. From my experience the doctors here also are very well trained in their practice and the hold their practice and care to the highest priority. The staff is very friendly and quick to making sure the needs of the patient are taken care of. Highly recommend going to Fishbaugh Family Eye care to take care of your vision.
