Pediatric and Family Eyecare

This place needs to learn proper scheduling, if you have small toddlers beware. I brought my 2 children for eye appointments we made months ago for 8:30am appointment. Arrived early and by 9am we were still in waiting area and told they were waiting for a room. By 9:15am it was a very long time for a 22 month old to wait and he was getting tired and needed to be done soon for nap time. We were the told it would be longer wait in the back at 9:20am. I will not be bringing my children back here, the purpose of bringing my children at first appointments is to ensure these things don't occur. Parents beware if your child is young and incapable of sitting still or quiet for long wait times. Also the tech was extremely rude when asked how much longer once we went back (fyi her answer it'll be a long wait).

Make sure you plan for a long wait. Even in the beginning of the day it will be an hour after the appointment time when you are seen. Everyone is nice, but no respect for time

My children had been going there since 2018, but things have really changed over the years. The customer service on the check in side has drastically taken a turn for the worst. I recently had an appointment for 3pm, we showed up at 2:40 however we weren't seen until 4pm. They chose to allow new patients whom were late to their appointment to be seen before us (even though their appointment was for 3:15p). The final straw was my son forgot his wallet there and I asked them to mail it to us. They agreed to mail it but it never arrived. I came back to the business over a week later for the receptionist to say they didn't feel comfortable mailing it. When I asked why they didn't call (or email or text) to inform me that it wasn't going to be mailed the receptionist said she didn't feel comfortable talking to me. Like what??? So now I will be taking my children to a different optometry office for services.

We've been going here for 3 years and have loved every single visit. We've done dilation on both my girls and the staff handled my youngest going crazy perfectly Dr. Tandon is so sweet and amazing with my girls. They really enjoy going and being able to see her. The front desk staff is always nice and helpful. We just added our son to be seen here by the same doctor and I know he will love going.

I had a very disappointing experience at this eye doctor's office. A few months ago, I scheduled appointments for myself and my daughters after confirming coverage with my insurance provider, Sooner Care. I provided a copy of what was covered, and the staff at the check-in window assured me that everything was in order. I clearly stated that I only wanted services that were covered and reiterated this before the appointment began. Even during the phone conversation when I initially set up my appointment, I advised that I only wanted what was covered nothing more. However, after the appointment was over, just minutes later, another lady at the checkout side attempted to charge me. After reviewing the coverage information and having the staff confirm that the services I received were covered, she assured me that there would be no fees due upon checkout. Now, months later, I am being billed $50 for a charge I was explicitly told I wouldn't have to pay. This lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. I expected better service and transparency, especially regarding billing. I will not be returning to this office and would not recommend it to others.

We have been going here for 6 years. Started with Dr. Tandon until she went on a mission trip and had to switch to Dr. Denslow. He is a great eye doctor and very attentive. I was bummed when Dr Tandon left on her mission trip but just found out today that she is back!! We are so excited and trust this office. From all eye doctors here, to the front office and even the optical shop everyone has always been so nice and exceeds my expectations when it comes to the care I expect for my family. Go here for all things eyecare- They are all simply amazing!!!

Dr. Tandon is amazing. She explains things clearly and simply. She's kind and patient, with my kids and with me. I feel like she has my family's best interests in mind every time I see her. She trusts me to make the best decisions for my child, after receiving all of the information, without making me feel pressured or incompetent. We absolutely love Dr. Tandon.

Doctor Anika Tandon is one of the sweetest and compassionate medical professionals I have ever witnessed. She genuinely cares about her patients AND staff. Would reccomend 8 days a week. Hopefully her great soul reads this. If you're considering it don't hesitate.
