Been wearing glasses for 40 years or so, I have visited many optometrists in various places and by far, this is the best office anywhere. I recommend them often.

As someone who hates wearing glasses but needs to, I reluctantly went in for a checkup and to update my glasses. To my surprise, I was there for well over 2hrs as the staff attempted to find the perfect pair while they listened to my preferences and concerns about frame and lens options. The price was very reasonable, and the final product exceeded all expectations. I'd highly recommend Newcastle Eye Care.

I was having a minor issue with my eye, and although they were booking a month in advance, they were able to get me in within a couple of days. The store is small, but it's bright, clean, and organized. The reception staff is polite and friendly. They have a decent selection of eyewear, and the sale prices are pretty good. The optometrist was great. He was friendly and patient and explained everything thoroughly. After I purchased my glasses, I needed an adjustment. They adjusted them for free to my preference two weeks after purchase.

Superior customer service: always pleasant, courteous and professional. And the selection of frames with excellent price points is top notch. Both my husband and I are thrilled with both the great service and quality of our new glasses!

We looked for a new eye doctor after moving to Newcastle and at our first appointment for a checkup we had to wait over half an hour. The eye doctor recommended a follow up test for me and at that appointment I had to wait 45 minutes with no apology. The receptionist never made eye contact with me. I had to ask how long it was going to be before I was going in. I was given the test and told that the doctor would call me back within three days. It is a week later and I still have not received a phone call. I called today and the receptionist told me that the doctor was busy. In my opinion that is not an excuse for not hearing after a full week. She said she was with a patient and would call me today with the results. It is now almost 7 pm and still no call. We will not be going back to Newcastle Eye Care again and are very disappointed, and would definitely not recommend.

Just had my first appointment here with Dr. Lee and I can honestly say it was an excellent experience! To start, walking into the office, you can see that it's a beautiful space that is well maintained and very clean. Next, the ladies at the front reception were incredibly friendly and helpful! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. They were patient and answered every question I had. When I went in for my visit with Dr. Lee, I was so pleased to be greeted with a very professional yet personable doctor. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail as the appointment carried on. I left feeling very well taken care of and I will absolutely be recommending Dr. Lee to my family and friends! Thank you for such great care!

Dr. Lee is VERY patient and thorough, which is what I need in an Optometrist because I ask so many questions. His receptionists are very kind and helpful as well!
