The diesel shop I've been using shut down recently. I've tried a couple other shops in the Portland area, but I was treated like my business didn't matter to them. So, I reached out to Vision Diesel for a quote to upgrade my UCAs and steering components. I received a quote within a day and I was surprised by how reasonable it was. I accepted the quote and I was on their schedule quickly. Leading up to the day I was to drop off my truck for the service, I received a call from Shane that the shop was a few hours behind. As this was approaching a weekend, he made sure that I was okay to leave the truck with them over the weekend. Later, I got a follow up call from the Shop Manager with more details on their progress and he also made sure I was good without my truck for the weekend. This seems like a small thing, but this is the first time a shop communicated their schedule changes to me without me having to call and ask what is going on. The work was done well, and obviously, that is the most important part of the transaction. That they went above and beyond to communicate with me and make sure the minor delay didn't screw up my weekend was the surprising part. Pretty sure I found my new shop.

10/10 recommend this shop. 2022 gmc sierra 2500hd. Came in for a diagnostic of lights that were on in the dash. Shane at Vision Diesel was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind in explaining the issue and getting it resolved. I will absolutely return for any issues that I have in the future and will recommend to friends as well.

The guys over at vision diesel are very knowledgeable and helped me to figure out what was going on with my truck. The only thing that stopped me from doing the work on my truck was the price to get the parts and the labor cost. Just didn't have that much cash to put down for it. They do amazing work though. They did an upgrade to my last dodge a while back. Great quality and got the job done within a reasonable time frame.

I highly recommend Vision Diesel when it comes to regular maintenance service and all of your performance applications. Their customer service is top notch. When it comes to diagnosing your vehicle issues they explain what's going on very well. Had my Banks Monster Ram and S&B cold air intake installed here, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Derek was awesome -- super professional, great communication, and just easy to work with. The shop did clean work and clearly knew what they were doing. Truck runs great, install was smooth, and I'll definitely be back for more upgrades. Highly recommend these guys.

I had a check engine light for my turbo so I stoped by vision diesel on my lunch one day, I spoke with Derek and he looked it up letting me know it was one of a couple "death to turbo" codes and told me if it just started showing up and my engine brake still worked I would probably be fine for another year or so, he did offer me some recommendations of turbos and I left with my question answered, I then went down a turbo Rabit home as you do with a 6.7 Cummins when you are in my boat and I came across a wide variety of variations and I was in over my head. I called vision back and spoke with Derek again who pointed me in the right direction of what I personally needed and wanted, he told me if I even wanted to do the work myself I could still order my parts from him with no up charge and could pick up in store. I ended up just letting them do the whole job and was beyond happy with my choices and the mechanic even came out to my truck and talked to me about it when I picked it up. If your looking for a repeatable shop for your diesel truck I would give these guys my business again.

My experience with Vision Diesel is that they are professionals and know their stuff. Curtis, Derek and Nick are awesome! I was getting the run-around at other places and they took a much more wholistic approach to their diagnostics and solutions, guiding me to the right decision for me and my truck. You'll have to set your appointment decently in advance, but you'll be glad you did! Amended - I had a few follow-up items unique to my truck and the team really worked above and beyond to get them done properly. Update - decided to consolidate and downsize to a GMC 1500 Sierra Denali Ultimate 6.2L gas. Yes, got heat for going to the opposite side of the fence. Vision fixed it up with a Cognito Fox leveling kit with a new Cognito upper control arm and new Deaver leaf springs. Way better ride and clearance. Added Method wheels with BF Goodrich KO3's, a new S&B cold air intake and a Banks Pedal Monster. All excellent upgrades.

I was having a failure to start issue with my DMAX. I took it in for an evaluation. They contacted me to ask if they could dig deeper with the issue. I approved and they found a leaking fuel filter housing and a dirty fuel filter. They contacted me with a list of items they recommended getting taken care of/replaced and costs involved. Truck is back on the road running like it should.
