Wise Eyes Optical - Burnham, PA

Made me wait 5 months for an appointment, show up and tell me I'm not scheduled and i missed my appointment. They even called me 2 days before to tell me that my appointment was coming up on the day i went in. Will never be going back

Some of the staff was friendly, which is the only reason this place is getting ANY stars at all. Dr McCusker was NOT friendly and was rude to my son during his appointment. Telling him that anyone can do what she is asking and she didn't know what is problem was. She was impatient with him and was sighing and rolling her eyes the entire exam. My son was cooperative and listened to everything she told him to do. He was struggling with where to look at during her exam and she was very very rude, condescending and mean to him. Both my son and I had appointments that day. Dr. was agitated that I insisted I would be accompanying my son back to the exam room for his exam. She wanted me to wait in the waiting room. He's 10 years old and quite obviously a minor!! We order our glasses (unimpressed with their womens selection), they came in a timely manner but very $$$. They did not have my trial contacts I needed in stock. Took two weeks to get them in (completely understand this) and then another 3 weeks to get an appointment for me to go to the store to put them in my eyes and have the Dr. watch me do it! I am unsure if I will be required to pay for this office visit as well right now. I have never had to do this before. I have went a picked up my contacts, put them in with a tech out front and left. I have worn contact for 25 years. So a total of 5 weeks waiting to get contacts, that I still have not received. These are the same brand of contacts I have worn for 10 years! I will be getting my contacts (because they are paid for) and will NEVER return to this business ore recommend them to anyone I know. She also refused to give me my contact prescription, for the contact lens exam that I specifically paid for.

I went to pick up my lenses and have them put into my existing frames. The technician that was taking my old lenses out broke my existing frames and tells me the plastic was weak on my frame and they broke. I got my frames from wise eyes maybe a few years ago!!!!! I am very upset. They gave me 3 choices of frames to choose from to fit my new lenses I didn't like any of them but I needed glasses so I settled for a frame. I will be contacting them today and resolving this issue

The doctor acted like it was a inconvenience to her for me being there. She was very unpleasant and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She got snippy with my kid because he got out of his seat to throw something away. And when I went to go take my contacts out She never showed me where the bathroom was and I was getting all my stuff ready before going to wash my hands and while getting everything ready She told me to "go wash my hands and not to humor me" this was a very unpleasant visit and if I didn't I have to go for a follow up for my contacts I would probably never go back again or request a different dr if they had one.

Dr. McCusker is very thorough and we have been her patients for over 20 years. Not so thrilled with the selection of glasses or the help, lack of, when the doctor informed them I was looking for frames. A woman walked in off the street to look at frames and they fell all over her to help. We ended up taking our prescriptions.

Dr McCusker was very thorough and did a great exam. What else do you want? Was a little disappointed in getting the glasses adjusted properly, and I had to do some tweaking on my own. Seemed like the girl fitting me was new. But the glasses showed up quickly and work well. Going to pick up a second pair shortly.

I took my daughter to her appointment today and the ladies out front are so amazingly sweet! The dr herself was a complete jerk to my daughter. She acted like it was as a nuisance to have my daughter there. She would ask her a question and cut her off and roll her eyes at her. I will not be taking her there again she will see a different dr.

Very poor service. I have gone in twice now and no one came out to wait on me. I could hear them in the back talking. One gentleman even stood in the back looking at me. I will not be back.
