North Pocono Family Eyecare

I would recommend North Pocono Family Eyecare to anyone in the area. In addition to exceptional care, your other needs such as accessing medication will be looked out for. I recently ran into a problem in which my insurance company tried to deny a medication I need and have been taking for a long time, requiring Dr. Kim to complete an insane amount of paperwork and other administrative tasks. Dr. Kim and her staff have been very good about keeping up with this. It is worth noting that while I grew up in the North Pocono area, I now live an hour away but choose to drive back for appointments as opposed to finding a closer doctor due to the quality of care.

Went for an eye exam, asked for my glasses prescription because I wear a certain brand glasses because it's what I like and actually fits my larger head. Went to order glasses direct from the manufacturer and lo and behold, information was withheld from my prescription. Called to get the missing information, and get the following response: "She only gives that information when you order glasses from here." Thanks for withholding my information about me. Good on you Dr. Agostinelli. One and done on my visits at this place.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star! MONEY HUNGRY!!! My husband needed reading glasses and paid $136 for them to be ordered that had to be paid in full prior, THEY missed our $25 deductible and demanded us to pay or they wouldn't order it. THEIR ERROR! The doctor hung up on me when I tried explaining last year we didn't have a deductible and she MADE me pay $25 to be sure which I did in good faith and they are fussing over $25 for my husband's glasses which he could've paid when he picked them up. She would've even let me pay in 2 installments last year. I had to pay upfront full amount. Rumors are true this doc is all about money. No ethics whatsoever! Go elsewhere! We are getting a refund and going elsewhere with our family!

They are not straight with you. They tell you they accept your insurance and bill you a ridiculous amount on top it. They are disgusting and take advantage of people I never had an experience like this before. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Demand full payment in advance. I dropped off a check for the full amount they told us for my dad's glasses. They made an error when totaling his fee, and he owed an additional $20. They would not order his glasses until the $20. was paid. It was THEIR error & would not let him pay when he picked up his glasses.

Great doctor with knowledge, it's my third visit over last year every time when I need help with my eyes It's no problem ,just call or stop it's breeze- quick visit with smile and friendly people working there . Advice for people complaining about money or not ordering stuff before it's pay fully up front please remember doctors office and his service it's business Not charity. And most important it's free country if you don't liked you can always trays elsewhere. Thanks Oscar M

This is the place in NEPA to go to for a thorough eye exam. Eye health is more than updating a prescription. If you want a doctor who has the latest technology and will take the time to evaluate your eye health, North Pocono Family Eyecare is it!
