Cornea and Contact Lens Associates

I scheduled online and they rejected my appointment and never sent an email/text/any notification (yes, my notification settings were on for everything!) saying it was rejected... It would have been nice to get a notification and then maybe a call offering to reschedule me. FYI you cannot log in to the patient portal from a mobile device, so I was confused as to how you were even supposed to check the status of the appointment until I finally tried on a desktop and I could login to my account. On mobile, it just auto sends you to fill out the appointment form. No complaints about the eye doctors, they're both great! I just wish the scheduling process was more transparent and companies in general would go back to answering their phones instead of having to leave voicemails. Edit: Amy called me to explain the situation on their end and scheduled me an appointment for the next day. I appreciate the effort to make things right. Thank you so much!

I have been going to this office since 7th grade, since it was Dr. Spino, and I am almost 40 years of age. I have worn contacts and glasses since 7th grade. I was seen July of this year for the annual exam. I called today to order contacts and told me I needed to pay for another exam and contact fitting. Absolutely, ridiculous. I am sure insurance has a probe in this. However, my insurance sure is not going to pay for the second annual exam within 3 months of my last one. Extremely, inconvenient, and money hungry. If I were in their for an exam in July, read your patients' chart and maybe offer them the fitting/ separate contact exam at the time of their annual visit. Offered zero solution. It just is what it is, take it or leave it. I will leave and not be back after 24+ yrs.

This place is a joke been getting glasses there for years .. now there not honoring the warranty on my eye glass lenses got 3 pair of glasses last exam . Had a warranty on all of them for 1 year .. used warranty on 1 pair .. now the other pair they won't warranty the lenses that never had a claim ... never had an issue until this year ... needless to say don't by there bs warranty sales pitch bc they don't honor it .. use to call tell them the issue they would say should be in about a week .. not now .. I will be finding a new doc.. back the last 2 weds to get my glasses locked at for warranty.. nobody there to look at them ... I can't take off work every week till someone is there ... the receptionist was there both times and let me tell you if she worked for me and had that attitude with a patient I'd fire her 2 seconds after if I seen it ... place is such a joke why do you claim there is a 1 year lens warranty and 2 year frame warranty.. if there are issues with them ??? Yet have nobody there to check them over ... receptionist tells maybe I should call first .. well lady your not open when I leave for work so I have to take time off work to come there and you can't look at them and say yeah there junk will get you a replacement set ..it's not rocket science ..I swear I'm getting this run around bc my lens warranty is up in a few weeks ... stay away from this place there professionalism is terrible... sad part is I like the doctor been going here for years .. been wearing glasses for 40 years .. its hard to find good eye doc ... but if the rest of his crew is like this whats the options move on I guess... maybe doctor ludwig will make it right and correct this situation.. we shale see ...

Came to Cornea & Contact Lens Associates for my first ever eye exam. Dr. Ludwig walked me through everything step by step. Alex was a huge help with any questions that I had. Very friendly!!

I was a lifelong client of Dr. Spino, but I'll never give my business to this location again since new ownership took over. Twice my appointments have been canceled with less than 12 hours notice for predictable events (COVID, weather). No effort was made to reschedule in either case. Extremely unprofessional.

Awesome place. Alex helped me choose the perfect pair of glasses and Dr. Ludwig assisted me with finding the right contacts for me. Highly recommend.

Everyone at the office is amazingly helpful. Dr. Ludwig understands my vision quirks and has helped through a few vision transitions. I was worried , because we loved Dr. Spino, but we could not have asked for a better doc!!

Dr. Ludwig and his staff are amazing. They are welcoming and so sweet.
