York Eye Associates.. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Beam is very friendly and professional.. He takes the time to explain and answer questions. He includes you in the decision-making process when recommending classes. In my case, after surgery, rather than rush me into buying glasses, he recommended "cheaters" for the short term and suggested we revisit prescription glasses when my eyes were fully Adjusted after surgery. This has proved to be the best idea and I am now ready to proceed with prescription glasses. I feel Dr. Beam treats his patients as individuals and takes time to address their particular needs.

I started coming to the Cape Horn location a few years ago as they were the only ones in the area that participated in my vision insurance and would see my 4 year old. If I could've given ZERO STARS, I would have! Rec'd a call from this office 1 week prior to my scheduled appointment and was told that another office had "pulled my insurance" but couldn't explain what exactly that meant! This person (Jessica) was extremely rude and not willing to call my Insurance to verify coverage when "pulling" and "billing" is two different claims! She did not want to do HER JOB and instead requested that I do all the research. I have not been to the Eye Doctor for over a year, therefore another Eye Office could not and would not "Pull" as in her words, for me! I would NOT recommend this Office at all and JESSICA should get another JOB requiring less work bec she is not willing to do anything for her PATIENTS.....

The care I received was top-notch. Dr. Miller was fantastic--he was very thorough, patiently answered all my questions, and explained everything about my eye health in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and I truly felt like he cared about my vision.
The whole team was knowledgeable and professional. They helped me pick out a great pair of glasses and made sure the fit was perfect. The selection of frames was excellent, too. The office itself is clean and modern, creating a very comfortable environment.
I can't recommend York Eye Associates enough. If you're looking for an optometrist who provides outstanding care, a friendly atmosphere, and a great selection of eyewear, this is the place to go. A definite five stars!
